It was not a clean hotel and it smelled of smoke.. accomodations were poor like no.toiletries and only two towels in the room....

I am not a picky person at all and I am very easy going. But I was shocked upon seeing the gross conditions at this hotel. I arrived about 2 am and was shocked to see the bed at my room. There were two large yellow stains at the middle and there were hairs on the bed sheets and pillow cases as well. I went back to the front desk to ask for another room, they gave me another room but that was no better. They said the first room was even better and said all bed sheets are washed. I was seriously concerned about the possibility of bed bugs or other health issues by using their bed or towels. I spent the night in my car and couldn’t even go back to the room to take a shower (due to my health concerns about using their towels as well). I left the key on their counter early in the morning not to go back even for my second night of stay. They refused a refund!

The room smelled of smoke...for a non-smoking room! There wasn't any toilet paper. Just felt unsafe and disgusted! We left after 10min and made a reservation somewhere else

Most people tend to leave reviews if they've had an outstanding time or an unimaginably horrible time. Unfortunately this is for the latter. We walked in seeing the no smoking sign and as soon as the door opens, we smell cigarette odors and weed. I understand that this not a fancy hotel so I was willing to overlook that. The horror truly begins when I entered the room. Give the fact that Halloween is around the corner, it seems like the rooms is quite fitting for such a holiday. It looked like one of the rooms that a hit man would rent to dispose of a body or harvest an organ. The bed was stained with who know what kind of stains. The bathroom door lock was missing, the window was cracked and I'm sure that was blood stain that was on the wall. It is an excellent place to stay if you were looking for the organ trafficking themed room. Moving on to the free breakfast. I am not a picky eater but what they offered was more of a joke than anything. It looks like the food was whatever snacks they had left over from their movie night. They had Sunny Delight as "orange juice" and what appears to be left over donut holes that they didn't finish from the night(or days) before. Free breakfast from the listing means free food to look at.(Not sure anyone is brave enough to actually eat the offerings) Overall I am surprised that Hotels.com is still listing the place despite all the horrible reviews. I think you will be better suited looking for an airbnb or go camping instead.

Super gross place

It smelled like smoke in the lobby and on every floor including the non smoking floors. The entire place is run down and literally being held together by duct tape. The bathroom was moldy and dirty. I was concerned with using the towels and sleeping in the bed. The bed also had comforters that could’ve been from the 70s and had holes in the them.

The staff were polite and helpful. The property is old and dilapidated (door lock didn’t work, dysfunctional light fixtures, dirty carpet, and even a non-smoking room reeked of old cigarette smoke ). But for $100 it’s close to an interstate highway, only about 7 miles from the University of Connecticut, and the tv-microwave-shower-hvac all worked fine.

Nastiest bathroom i've ever had, no hot water, no water pressure. If I hadn't been exhausted I would have walked out. The only good thing about the stay was the 2 people you had at the counter, they were very friendly and helpful. When checking out in the morning there was noone at the desk and the phone that you were supposed to call was on the desk. Had to leave keys in a small basket and hope nobody took them and went back to our room. Absolute worst hotel stay I've ever had. Noisy kids across the hall and a couple came in at 2:16 in the morning and could be heard through the adjoining door.

If I could give a negative star I would. The entire hotel smelled like smoke. My room was dirty and nasty. I found a dead fly behind the toilet and a brown hair on the shower wall. The bed was not that comfortable and the pillows looked old and used. The owner needs tobipgrade the entire hotel. The only positive was the breakfast. Fruit loops, toast , Sunny Delight and powered donut holes. Also the gym was closed but there was a new gym at the truck stop that we could use. The hotel was really close to I-84. Overall, please stay away from this one. I will never sleep here or any other Rodeway Inn again.

The friends i was with stayed in another room that i booked. They needed an extra wash rag and towel. They ask at the desk and they were told it would be in there room when we got back. My room didn’t have any wash tabs or towels to even dry off with. My wife went to the desk along with our friends wife to ask for those items. The person behind the desk got rood and told them we had to leave our rooms. I wasn’t there. They even said they would call the police. They were told they would refund us 1 day of room rate. So far don’t see anything about a refund. Better get it tomorrow or we are disputing the payment with credit card company. Thank you.

Black mold and mystery stains everywhere in the room. There was blood on the sheets and cigarette burns in the blankets. Bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a year. Morning staff was incredibly rude and aggresive. We used the call button at the front desk to make sure we were all set to leave and didnt need to do anything to check out. Took several minutes to appear and we started to walk away during this wait. We heard "oh nice ring the bell and then f**** walk away" when we turned around and said "what we want to make sure we were all set" he said drop your card and f**** leave. I muttered "a*****" and he proceeded to chase us out of the hotel. He came close enough to us that it felt like he was going to try to put hands on us. He definitely seemed like he was on something. Would definitely recommend taking this property off expedia as it is a dangerous and dirty property.

Did not stay-slept at a rest stop in the car instead and am trying to get a refund. Filthy, stinks like smoke, everything is gross and broken. Unsafe area- weird men wandering around, truck stop next door. Staff are rude, surly, threatening and completely unprofessional- especially one guy- he needs to be fired immediately. As a woman I felt threatened and unsafe. This place should not be on Hotels.com and as a result I don't think I can use this site again. Really bad place- I am surprised the Health Dept does not shut it down.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!!

This place reeks of mold and diesel gas as the truck stop is only feet away. Entire property is in disrepair (looks nothing like the pictures) and the front desk "employees" acted erratically and were threatening guests (definitely on something)

Very dirty, cigarette burns on blankets, not as advertised, hair on sheets and all over shower, moldy air units, smelled of smoke, overall felt very dirty and unsafe. Was unable to spend the night there due to the bad conditions, and was denied a refund for no reason.
