True Gem
A second home. This is no ordinary hotel room. It is a fully functional, 1 bed, 1 bath apartment with all the features you could ever want. We called 30 minutes prior to arrival and were greeted by the SimplySteamboat staff outside of our apartment building. They gave us our keys and helped bring our luggage to our room. All information regarding wifi, pool, hot tub, coin laundry, and everything else was on an easy-to-read sheet on the counter. You can use Netflix with the wifi. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, coffeemaker, toaster, can opener and anything else your culinary heart desires. Updated appliances along with a great a dishwasher were just what we needed during our extended stay. The living room is spacious with a wood burning stove and a good size TV. A high-top dinner table seats 4 and is a great place to lay out gear for the next day's adventure. There a deck that overlooks the parking lot from the second out of three floors. Not the greatest view but very pleasant to sit and have a cup of coffee. The screen door also provided excellent airflow. The bathroom is clean, but a little on the small side. Both water pressure and temperature were excellent. The king size bed is great with a soft foam topper. The window has blinds, but if you are a total blackout sleeper you will wake up with the sun. Overall this place is simply wonderful at a great price!
