Tired and tiny with a great view
It would have been helpful to have an address and make it clear in the guest portal of where to go upon arrival if condo wasn't ready. I even called when we landed and wasn't given the main address which was across the street from the base area. No where near the condo itself. Our Storm Meadows shuttle driver was kind enough to drive us to the office to store our luggage and equipment. At exactly 4PM we were given the code for our condo and we are told, very nonchalantly I might add, that a shuttle can't take us until 6pm. Not I'm so sorry or can I call you an uber, let me see if I can get someone earlier. Poor customer service. Yampa View 105 - Upon arriving at Yampa 105 the bedroom carpets were clearly not vacuumed. Chips and cookie crumbs on rug and on porch floor and table as well. Fireplace sounds like an AC unit in the living room when on. Between both bedrooms there is one tiny nightstand drawer. No way to unpack anything that can't be hung up such as underwear, bathing suits, socks, etc. We fortunately brought along some coffee as the unit only offered decaf. Airport pick up was at noon from the office and we had a Retretia shuttle to pick us up at 11:30 at base but the guest portal app locked us out before that time making communication with shuttle unavailable. There are so many areas for improvement with this company. Do not see us using Retretia in the future.The only nice part about this accommodation is the view.
