This was not your typical hotel room. I was very impressed with the well-designed layout - including kitchen - and spaciousness of this room. Everything including the furniture and appliances was clean and in tiptop condition. Communication with the off-site inn keeper went exceptionally well and I received immediate assistance when I needed help with the TV. Out of all the places I've stayed in my travels, the Oakwood Inn gets my highest-ever rating!

Enjoyed the clean comfortable room with a very comfortable bed and what felt like brand new pillows. I slept like a rock with hearing almost nothing from my neighbors. Worth every penny!

Amazing!
I was looking for a place to sleep for the night after driving through Colorado. I wasn’t expecting much from this roadside hotel, but my expectations were exceeded completely! The hotel is small and older and doesn’t look like much on the outside. But the room itself was so cozy. Clean. Nice new soft carpet. Comfy beds. Had a full fridge. Can’t upgrade things about this hotel even though it was just a place to stop and sleep. Highly recommend!

Oakwood Inn is a dainty location we spent the night in. I like the smell of the room upon entering and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was very easy to access the room no contact and we had everything we needed for the night.

We thought this was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room, the rooms were updated, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the check-in process was very easy. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great experience. Stayed a week while helping a relative with his new propertu clean up and repairs. Only negative was lack of coffee maker, but drive thrus all near by

Should have been basic if no reception
Hotel does not have a reception for check in. The pin for room is sent to the person reserved it or assumed to be sent. I tried calling 10 times to get the pin with no luck. My phone had no net. I had even econo lodge guys calling to confirm if I am still going to make my reservation as they were blocked to full. And here i am trying to get my pin for the room I paid so that I can crash in bed after driving a real long drive. They can/should do better with service. Room was comfortable and thought was given in choice of mattress and other small things - credit where it deserves for trying to compete with bigger chains.
