Fun escape, lodge had a lot of cool lounge areas. Trails at the back were awesome. Room was clean and cozy. I liked how the two queen beds were back to back so it gives pre separation between two people / couples. Shower pressure is a bit weak and if you shower at peak times water is lacking heat

1. The sign had no “Bluebird” word and it’s confused. 2. Receptionist NEVER picked up the phone and always said I had a customer but it’s not. 3. Receptionist over-talk person and argued for any/no reason. 4. Stuff not organized, extremely slow and useless. TV had a problem and I waited more than an hour to fix that issue. 5. Manager out of service but replied on txt “omg never heard that before”. Of course my friend! 6. Rooms had no line phone and if you need to reach to reception desk you better walk there. They didn’t pickup and never call back. 7. Room is not bad and clean. Had a stale air, bathroom fan extremely loud, shower curtains hanged too high after shower all floor is wet. Mattress as a turkey hill you need to climb in center and try to hold position during your sleeping. The bed had no headrest and space between the wall and mattress is huge. Not bad at all for $200, isn’t it? But the nature and smell of the forest are priceless!! Enjoy your stay in Bluebird! Or maybe not? Is it a Bluebird? Thank you guys after you I’ll never trust to exceptional rates. Thanks you open my eyes!

Staying here for the weekend was very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and charming, the grounds were well kept, and there were amenities like a fire pit, pool, hot tub, as well as a lounge area, arcade and snack bar. The rooms and lounge look like they were recently updated and have a great northern/ wilderness touch. I would definitely stay here again! Also they were accommodating to our need to get into one of the rooms a little earlier than regular check in time! Thanks to that, we got to the wedding on time and looking good!!

A really OK stay
a really OK stay. Honestly, evrything was fine. All the reviews we read were totally accurate. the pool and hot tub are in desperate need of repair/update/removal of ickiness. the updates are fine, the common area was really nice and a great gathering space, the "arcade" and on site food was very MEH. The staff was sparse but pleasant when seen. The location is outstanding and the room are well set up. the cleaning under the beds was non existent but the sheets and bed bug bags on the bed were great.

L'état des lieux ... les chemins menant aux chambres et à l'accueil sont en mauvais état. Pas de service au restaurant et nourriture de mauvaise qualité. Nous n'avons pas eue la chambre que nous avions réservée et en plus nous étions 4 et on nous offrait une chambre avec 1 lit. Nous ne retournerons plus dans cet hotel et ne la recommanderons pas à nos proches et à personne d'autre d'ailleurs.

We loved our experience at Bluebird Cady Hill in Stowe! Overall, the staff was lovely and the area was beautiful. We loved the lounge atmosphere and the grilled cheese and tomato soup was 10 out of 10! The rooms were okay. There was no iron or ironing board provided (in room) which was definitely a negative for us. Andy when we borrowed the housekeepings iron it was basically broken. Otherwise a very positive and lovely experience.

Would recommend. Some staff very friendly, others not as friendly. Room was great , large and well equipped. We had a balcony but the chairs, which i know are ‘campy’ were not inviting. Did not use the spa area because there was so much else to do in the area. I’d recommend adding a day just to enjoy the facilities.

Fair but would not book again.
The clerk at check-in was very difficult to understand. I had to ask him to repeat constantly. Did not understand most of what was said. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. We were in one of the outlying buildings. Quit small but fine for 1 night on our way through. The toilet/shower however was not fine. Very difficult to sit on the toilet because it was so close to the wall & the toilet paper roll. Shower was OK but a bit primitive. We would not book again.

Appreciate the property has been remodeled and updated instead of being torn down and rebuilt from scratch. The owners have created a charming spot to stay that has a variety of activities to enjoy. One thought I had while walking the property was the groundskeeping team needs to pay a bit more attention to detailing the beds and grounds that have obviously been redone. Too many weeds might lead a person to think the tidiness of the rooms may be getting overlooked as well. Happily, that wasn’t the case in our room. Shout out to the front desk for their willingness to store my freezer packs and two pints of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for us! Appreciate your kindness. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely check out Bluebird/Lark Properties again.

Beautiful property, clean, close to everything. I walked to Stowe via Path (there is an access point across the street) which saved me from a hassle of finding parking. I loved the room (got an upgrade to a room with a fireplace and a balcony which was spacious and cozy). It was raining daily - so it was nice to have a covered balcony. The only thing I didn't like were outside chairs which sit too close to the ground preventing from seeing beautiful surroundings (and not so easy to get up from). Otherwise everything was great, I enjoyed both inside and outside pools - clean and large. Will certainly stay in this hotel again.
