Perfect place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon! I love the quaint lodge vibes. It was clean and friendly and super convenient to getting to all of the trails and sites. There was a dining hall and coffee shop on site, a market and deli across the parking lot, and more restaurants a short drive down the road. I would def recommend staying here.
Everything was great. Only recommendations is to put some kind of "stop" on the doors. When the shut, they are extremely loud and woke us up a few times.

Property is placed next to the rim with convenient access to food
Very run down hotel with paper thin ceilings. Shower was broken, sheets were dirty and full fingernails were in the carpet. Once we asked for a new room the next room was a bit better at least but we got compensated with two $3 drop coffees.
Excellent stay! We had a leak with toilet and they gave us a new room and free breakfast for our troubles!

The clearness was so poor! My son found a lot of moldy pine nuts in a towel, while bathing, which was so horrible. When we took this towel to the check-in counter, the staff just said “ oh, they are just some pine nuts”, and just acted as nothing has happened. This attitude was so disappointed.
No WiFi, beds were hard, rooms are in buildings away from the main building. I guess they earn a third star because they are in the park. The rooms aren't any better than a budget motel. Would only stay here if I wanted to be in the park in the cheapest place.
Our stay at Yavapai was super comfortable and restful. We loved staying in the park so we could start exploring early... and after all that hiking, to be close to the dining hall for dinner was very convenient.
It was so nice and quiet at night... plus there is a great view of the stars right outside. In the morning we saw two deer right outside the window!!
The room was very clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable. Would stay here again!
