I love that it is owned by the Turtle Creek Band of the Ottawa and Chippewa. I would wish that there were more activities and opportunities to learn about and appreciate the culture more. Other than some of the decor, there was little evidence of the Tribe's presence.

Overall we had a nice time. The lifeguards and most staff we encountered were helpful and nice. We entered the ice cream shop 2 minutes after 8pm as the door was wide open and lights on. The woman behind the counter look d at my 2 kids and me and said, “oh I’m closed. We close at 8.” As a former restaurant manager I would advise to have her close the doors prior to “closing up,” as it was inviting us in with the open door, light and her behind the counter.

My daughter had a golf tournament at A Ga Ming golf resort on Sunday/Monday. I was looking for an affordable option for one night on the Holiday weekend. Expedia had a good deal plus I had rewards. By the time my daughter finished her 36 holes and we had dinner it was 10:00. We checked in at 10:30 and out at 8AM. We missed last call and all reasturants and resort ammenities were closed but I still had to pay an extra fee for the resort even though i booked thru expedia. My bill from expedia said all taxes and fees were included.

The staff did an excellent job. The issues with this property is that there were fruit flies and gnats everywhere. Three different on-site restaurants/bars and in each place, we had to put napkins over our drinks so the bugs went fly in. Terrible! Our room was sub-par and smelled of paint. This place was definitely not worth the value for the price.

Several staff members could use a refresher course in hospitality. I have never experienced such rudeness at a hotel of this caliber. From check in to bartenders and waitresses. Given the choice I would not stay here again.
