Totally fine, I wouldn’t describe it as upscale.
Was apparently a Best Western prior to this (still listed as Best Western on apple maps). It felt like a Best Western kind of room. Laminate floors, there was actually no artwork in our room, dated bathroom, no air conditioning (which is maybe typical here?), not particularly nice but totally fine - felt like a mid-level hotel that had been painted and given a nice entrance. Black out blind was a pull down roller blind over a window, not typical hotel black out curtains - that kind of thing. Service was great - hats off to the front desk team, the restaurant team, super helpful and friendly. Food was very expensive for what it was. It felt a bit like we were paying Hotel Scandic prices for Best Western kind of holiday. Which is maybe fine? Awesome location - quiet, walkable to the shopping areas, historic areas, water, easy parking. Loved all that.

Nice place
Best western hotel not written anywhere at arrival. Good location indeed. Close to the sea and shopping street. Cinema is next to the hotel which means a lot of sounds when people walks out from cinema at night. Breakfast was delicious, organic food and served local products. Very impressive. ☺️

OK, for en enkelt overnatning
Vi fik desværre et værelse ud mod vejen, hvor der kørte en del biler/lastbiler. Vejret var godt, så vi havde åbne vinduer hele natten pga. at det var varmt på værelset og der er ingen AC. Syntes det var generende med alt larmen fra vejen.

Hotel in centro paese. Pulitissimo, con qualsiasi tipo di confort, compreso bollitore con ogni tipo di bustina dal caffè alla cioccolata. Colazione super deliziosa, con abbondanza di buffet di dolce e salato. Parcheggio comodo e gratuito Svendborg è una carinissima cittadella portuale, molto vivace e base di appoggio per una gita nelle fantastiche isole del sud. Ci tornerei al volo!
