Begin each morning with a homemade breakfast prepared in the country kitchen (with a dishwasher), and cook your lunches al fresco on the charcoal grill. Drop your kayak in the lake for a paddle at dusk, gather around the firepit for ghost stories and s'mores, and end the evening with a movie or two in the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace (a flatscreen TV, basic cable, and a VCR are provided).

Location was perfect. We appreciated the fresh towels and bedding. Kitchen was well stocked. The only issue was the musty smell throughout the house. Fans don’t help much. Nothing really effected out stay, but it’s in much need of TLC

Great Lake Escape
Pee Wee Acres was a great escape from our daily lives and a wonderful place for our family to meet and catchup with each other. The dock is wonderful for sitting and drinking a morning cup of coffee. The lake was a little busy but it was the fourth of July week so we actually expected it to be busier. Even with it being a busy vacation week the property was very peaceful and quiet. Our Furry Family member Trinity loved jumping into the lake from the dock, the rest of the family did as well. When we first arrived Vacase property management was finishing up a repair from the last guest. They were friendly, very professional and on the whole a plessure to deal with as a guest. One the whole I would definitely recommend Pee Wee acers to families and people with Furry Family memebers.

Just what we needed!
This is a rustic vacation home that has a lake front access with dock and location was perfect for our family. We needed a place to eat and rest our heads at night after being out all day. The wifi was also excellent. The only thing we had to juggle was timing of showers since there is only one shower. Although, the water has good presurre and gets hot quick. Also, the front door is tough to open and close. It’s like the door is leaning towards the handle and you have to pull it back towards the hinges to ipen and close it. We would definitely stay here again. BTW - i tried to give zero stars for the property manager because I never spoke to one. Everything was handled through the vacasa app or via text/email. Therefore, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars since I didn’t have to speak to anyone and having everything digital made it rather simple.

Pleasant
Our stay was comfortable . The place is a little outdated and needs a little TLC . Aside from that we had an enjoyable time. The curtains in the third bedroom did not close nor were they on the rod correctly.

House was as described. Clean. Could use an update but then the price would be more. Had what was needed. Great location, right on the lake convenient to most area restaurants, attractions.

I wouldn’t rent this house for a weeks stay , However, for a long weekend it was fine
This home needs major updating. Mold in bathroom. Great location and lakefront. Driveway is very hard to find, especially at night. The instructions for operating the TV and VCR were not included as advertised. The trash can was full to the top when we arrived.

Pee Wee Acres
Wonderful location and lakefront. Quaint layout with the two lofts. Inside very dated. Drawers in kitchen and elsewhere hard to open. Beds very saggy and not comfortable for two people. Shower was awful. Tub was very slippery. Water took forever to warm up and was difficult to adjust. Weekly supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap) ran out on Tuesday (we had four and a half adults - one part time - in a house with max occupancy of six adults). Loved the dock and lakefront yard with firepit. In spite of shortcomings, it was a wonderful week.

It’s a rustic cabin on a lake- what else do you need?
Great lakefront cabin located on a quiet road, with a private dock. Has 3 bedrooms, along with two rough lofts with mattresses (good for nimble teenagers or older kids). Beds are firm but adequate. Very clean. Kitchen was spare, I definitely recommend bringing basic staples like salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. Inside is definitely old school but inviting: wood beams cross the high peaked ceiling, and the main room is dominated by a beautiful 15’ stone hearth. TV is large and hi def, nice touch to the living room. Bring lawn chairs. House has two nice Adirondack chairs, but you will need more for the dock and the nice firepit. Private dock is great, we swam and kayaked all week. Dog friendly, our Biggie Smalls swam all week with the boys. We rented kayaks from Bill’s Marine Service. Great location: 8 minute drive to town, very quiet at night. One warning: driveway is VERY dark at night. House signage is partially concealed by a tree, and the street address is literally handwritten on a wood post. Ownership needs to put some solar powered lights out on the driveway, we passed it several times at big it during the week, my older son even missed it while walk-in game at night. Book this place with confidence.

Great location, love that it’s dog friendly!
This was a great little house for a getaway! The kitchen is well equipped and clean, the furniture comfortable and views great! Our dogs loved jumping off the dock every day and swimming around the lake. The house is close to trails and restaurants alike making it a great location for lots of activities. Be aware that the house does NOT have air conditioning, but you don’t need it most of the year up here. The house also has multiple box fans so we were very comfortable all week. The biggest complaint/issue is the dampness of the house, but that’s to be expected with the lake just steps out of the backyard! We’ll definitely be returning!

5 Star Location, 3 Star Accommodation.
Awesome location within walking distance to the State Park and beach, also just steps away from your private lake front floating dock. Cabin was clean and generally comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils (this has been a problem in previous rentals) There is even a washer and dryer if you need it! The location is central to pretty much anything around Deep Creek Lake. However, this place is in real need of updating. and has a vibe of decades past (,......... and not really in a cool or charming way) All the beds (except the one full size one) have rock hard mattresses and no one in our party found them comfortable. Also, although the beds had clean sheets, we did not realize there would be no blankets or comforters. We eventually found a couple of old and dirty comforters and one blanket tucked away deep in a couple of closets, but do plan on bringing something to cover up with while you are in bed.

Great potential, unbeatable location, just needs some updates!
You couldn't ask for a better location. Just a few minutes down the road from the Discovery Center and State Park in one direction and the main road in the other direction. We really enjoyed the cabin vibe as this is our perfect style. The cons were that there were many items within the house that needed to be repaired and/or upgraded.

Ideal location-- lakefront with dock
If you were here for the great indoors this is not the place for you. If you don't mind traditional-old-Lakehouse imperfections the location could not be more perfect. We loved playing off the dock and the fire pit the most ; easy access to hiking trails; everything you need is here.
