since i have to continue staying in hotel for search my long term living in taiwan, i need to find a place to stay.
honestly, the first day when i got in hotel and specially my room, i can say this is a simple business hotel, also there were tiny creatures lije ants came out from the edge of the table, i guess was because i eating my take out orders.
After i requested to change my room from 2nd floor and the staff helped me to 5th floor, everything totally changed, much more tidy clean and no more tony creatures or ants, and i also have to continue staying, untill waiting for my place ready
Check in is with a kiosk. There is someone to help 9am to 9pm. There is an intercom on the door if you don’t have a room key to get in. Clean small rooms. Nice bathrooms. Worked perfect for what we needed it for.
Quiet, secured building. Located very close to Dahu MRT. Buses, convenience stores, pharmacy and restaurants all within 2-6mins walk.
Room is spacious, water pressure is superb! They provide all badic amenities. Honestly you can't beat what you get at this price point.
I booked this hotel for an important interview in American Institute in Taiwan. It’s a nice walking distance to restaurants and train station. Clean and quiet staying space. I definitely recommend this place!
It was a good stay for me. I like that the place is clean and the staff were very nice. I highly recommend the Koos hotel dahu to travelers especially to people who have appointment at the AIT. Its a 10 min walk away from the embassy.
The room was small and basic but clean and useable. There is no breakfast buffet or dining room in the hotel but we picked up our order from the front desk. Located a very brief walk from an MRT station and beautiful Dahu Park.
I booked this hotel mainly because of it’s location, the MRT and bus station are nearby.
The room was small but clean suitable for one or two person. The layout of the room was a bit awkward, the door of the bathroom wasn’t at the entrance but on the other side of the wall faces your bed. The sound insulation in the room was very poor so you can easily hear the noise of the cars from outside and other guests of conversation in the hallway.
The hotel offers breakfast but since they don’t have their own restaurant so you would have to order your breakfast through the counter in advance and pick it up at around 7:15 am next day. The selection of breakfast was very limited and you’ll have a cold breakfast if you pick up your breakfast 10 mins late.
Overall, this is a nice hotel if the noise insulation and breakfast can be improved.
I have had booked this hotel twice with different experiences. One was great as I reviewed last time for my latest stay yet the other, the first booking gave me a poor impression. I needed a late night shower around midnight and realized there was only warm water in the bathroom. I called the front desk, and no one answered. I ended up finishing the shower roughly and quickly.
This is a newly renovated small hotel suits more for a loner than for family or couples. An MRT station ls nearby within walking distance. Taxies and buses are convenient to access to other areas of Taipei making transportation easier if you know how to use them and where you are going to.
This is a small hotel close to an MRT station within 5 minutes walk. The room is compact yet cozy, clean and spacious enough for a loner or backpacker. Not recommended for couples or family. Bus stops right next to hotel front door make transportation easier if you are familiar with the neighborhood. Small desk with no light source above it cause difficulties in reading and working. Wifi is good though.
As of May 2017 the hotel seemed very recently renovated. It was very clean and quiet. The room was a very good value - much nicer than I expected given the affordability. The neighborhood is mostly a residential area so there's not a lot to do nearby if you are vacationing, but the Dahu Park MRT station is just a couple of minutes away.
