This hotel was a complete surprise. We stayed in Tallahassee for Parent’s Weened at FSU. Every hotel jacks up their rates for football weekends and even more so on Parent’s Weekend. BOB Hotel was much better priced than all the rest. It was cheaper than the run down, mold infested, dirty, crime scene looking hotels. I was shocked to walk in and find the pictures actually represented how clean and charming this hotel is. I was met by Lance at 11:30 on when we checked in. He was the most friendly hotel staff person I’ve ever met. Such a polite and warm welcome. He was so welcoming I went back down after we checked in just to talk with him about the property. The room looked brand new. Lance said the new owners have redone everything in the place. I will say the room was exceptionally clean. The furniture was new and modern. It was disproportionately good compared to the cost of the room. The next morning we had a bite from their complimentary breakfast. It was great. Bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, made to order waffles, coffee and juice. All high quality food products that weren’t an afterthought. I met new staff for the day; Chasity, Summer and Chiquita. Again, nicest staff I’ve ever met. Everyone who works there appears genuinely happy to work there and they treat the property like they own it. The vibe that they give, along with the music playing in the lobby and the furnishings was truly awesome. I honestly put this Hotel on the same level as Hotel Indigo.
