The property and the grounds are beautiful! The restaurant is amazing! Kudos to the chefs! Every meal was great! Kendall and Oscar were our servers each day we were there and they were the nicest and most attentive people! Truly kind and welcoming and exceeded all expectations of a server. Note, Oscar makes the best White Russian!
The pools and hot tubs are very well maintained. Hiking around their grounds, do beware! It is a lot of up and down, deep steps, and a lot more vigorous than we expected! Hiking boots are a must! No sandals or flip flops. I also suggest you let the front staff know you’re going (and when you get back) as once you are out there, you are screwed if something happens. When it’s rained, it is muddy, slippery, and can be dangerous. We are not the most physically fit people being in our late 50s but, we did it and at times it was rough.
Note there are also no ATM machines at the hotel or nearby! If you don’t already have cash, there is no way to tip this well deserving staff!
Plan some tours as it will get boring as there is not much to do here. The hotel will help you with that as well.
We loved it there and hope to return someday.
