The receptionist was really kind, helpful and always available for support. Even asked for the taxi arrangement back to the airport and the rate wa fair, considering the peak time ( my friends' hotels quoted much more). Walkable to the old city and the market within a few minutes and there are good restaurants nearby as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

Not quite "fabulous"
I wouldn't be fooled by the review that called the single room in this hotel "fabulous", the reviewer may have been influenced by a low room price of the moment. The single room is so small you can barely swing a cat. Stingy as well providing only one small towel, no bath mat, only a smidgen of soap, no cup of any sort for brushing teeth no hangers in the closet and with the pungent smell of bleach noticeable upon entering. Now I will say, after complaining to the front desk about all of this, they brought up a small fruit plate, a bottle of water and a small glass for teeth brushing. So if you are on a budget, this might be a good choice for you but it's far from fabulous. On a positive note the staff are friendly and courteous and appear to be concerned about the comfort of their guests. I have stayed here in the past and have noticed a level of stinginess that wasn't as obvious before. So, I would stay here only if I had to because it isn't my first choice. Also if you are a solo woman traveler, you might not want to venture out after dark as the street, or alleyway this hotel is located on is crawling with drug dealers and users, aggressive pan handlers and women of the night. It is in the middle of the petite socco and close to a coiple of popular cafes and the old medina and souks. That might be of interest to some visitors Oh by the way, the breakfast which is included with your room is not very good especially when compared to other hotels in the area.

We loved this place: a warm welcome, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for you, a clean room with comfortable beds, an excellent breakfast with views looking out over Tangier, all within easy walking distance of the old town. The hotel restaurant was excellent too and we had the best tagine of the whole stay there. I really can't fault this place - thoroughly recommended.

A Great Place to Stay
The Mamora Bay Hotel is located in the medina, with it's lively atmosphere, and is conveniently close to the ferry port. The hotel has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and the staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful.

Lovely hotel, conveniently located close to the Petit Socco and walking distance from the ferry port. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and dinner. Great views from the terrace restaurant. Although some aspects of the room are dated, it was comfortable, clean and well maintained. To note it is located next to the Grand Mosque so there will be regular calls to prayer.

Interesting. Lovely lobby and served tea on arrival. Only power outlet on one side of bed. Netflix in English! Don't fall for their driver/ guide offer. No English and very minimal sights for overpriced taxi ride. Live and learn. Cafe with a view is nice. Limited tp in room. Pillows and mattress too hard. Noisy, creepy floor. Very out outside window at night.

Authentic Moroccan experience
The hotel is located in the Tangier medina. The front desk is open 24 hours. The staff is very kind, welcoming and polite. The lobby area is nicely designed. The free WiFi connection works very well. The room is comfortable. The view from the restaurant at 3rd floor is wonderful. The breakfast is good. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money.
