Lovely view. Friendly helpful staff. Handy to have a room to lock away our bike. Parking is very tight. We were unable to use our allocated park on the third night due to the other cars.

Office guy was rude - room was great size furniture needs update- was not clean walls had marks down them bathroom area had not been cleaned properly .

We been to spend a night and found room with full of mosquitoes on the ceiling, die mosquitoes on the bed/pillows. Bathroom wall is full of mosquitoes. Terrible experience. It`s worst ever room I have been too. Very Very low standards. I reached Taupo late night and have no options to change it. I have to wake full night to look after kids that mosquitoes not bit them around. This should has to report to local Council to look into the hygiene standards of this Inn. Never ever recommend anyone to stay here.

Our room was situated right behind a bar and restaurant that stayed open till midnight and was extremely noisy till late into the night. When I approached the motel manager he was rude and accused me of moaning about things as if it was something you should just put up with paying well over $200 per night Do not stay there

Perfect location
Basic accommodation but adequate for our needs. Dedicated parking space. Perfect location on the lake front. Extra bed in every room. Friendly staff on reception. Allowed a late check out which was great.

The floors and beds had dead insects on them. There was a duck / bird poo on the floor in the middle of the room. The cups weren't cleaned properly and no replacement face cloths. I wont be staying there again

The room condition was very poor and poorly maintained. There was evidence of mould and an effluent leak in the sewerage on to the bathroom floor. Requires inspection by booking sites.
