Hampton has remodeled most properties near interstates. This one is dated and tired. Worn surfaces. Doesn’t have the modern bright LED lighting (some LED bulbs but not a re-do and abundance of fixtures). The toilets are early versions of low flow before we figured technology out. Handle had to be held multiple seconds. Not my style for $170.
Shout out to the late night receptionist here sunday night feb 2nd! The type of friendliness and human encounter that just makes your day better.
It’s a night shift at an inn so I don’t expect anything from the service, but it was just a pleasant surprise. This guy is clearly proud of his job, likes people and walks life with respect to his work and others. And that’s so nice to see.
And Hampton in just never disappoints with the cozy clean rooms.
