I always like to support boutique hotels because generally they have great service and are managed by dedicated and friendly staff. I chose this hotel because of the very high reviews and ratings. The location is excellent and a two minute walk to the main beach areas in Tel Aviv. It’s close to all the stations and a very short walk to Carmel market and to Dizengoff area
The hotel itself is generally very well kept and is a true boutique hotel. Check-in went well and our room was excellent, very good size and we were generally very happy.
The breakfast is absolutely amazing first class in every respect and a huge shout out to the chef and breakfast staff.
A big negative from me would be the attitude of some of the front of house staff. I reported our shower was overflowing and the bathroom was flooding on three occasions and no one came to look. Eventually the maintenance staff did arrive they told me that they came previously to check the bath and not the shower.
The front of house staff member didn’t seem too bothered initially, and on the third occasion I had to raise my voice and tell him that I was extremely unhappy in the way that he handled this. whilst most of the staff were friendly and proficient, some of them are untrained, and probably too young to be in this kind of position dealing with guests.
All in all, this is a good hotel and probably designed to cater for a younger crowd in their 20s and 30s.
