Beautiful yard and lake view
This place was great for our weekend stay near Rhinelander. The yard and lake view were lovely. The deck was perfect for our family's small cook out and we loved making a bonfire later in the evening. The bedrooms were small, but the family room was spacious with a great view and the kitchen was fully stocked. I didn't realize the home didn't have A/C when booking, but the temp was comfortable despite it.

Little gem in the Northwoods!
This cabin and location was a 10/10. It’s as beautiful as depicted. Stocked kitchen except for glassware and wine glasses, just coffee mugs and plastic cups. There is a new coffee pot in addition to the Keurig. The beds were very comfy and the fireplace warmed us up on the cool mornings (yes in July)! The view of the lake is awesome and the call of the loons was hauntingly beautiful. Watching the eagles dive for fish was entertaining. The canoe was very nice with built in seats. There’s no AC but a lovely breeze and ceiling fans were enough! We rode our bikes on the Bearskin Trail, swam at Sand Lake and took in the backwoods restaurants and pubs! We fished and caught bluegills from the dock. We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Perfect stay!
We loved our stay here! House was very clean and had a lot of great amenities. Kitchen stocked with all appliances/ kitchen tools you would need. We did a lot of fishing right off the pier. We caught bluegill, bass and northern. We enjoyed lots of campfires at night around the nice fire pit! We would love to stay here again.

The house was clean and had most of the needed amenities. The lake and location were beautiful. Lots of fish were caught and released. The view was spectacular. We heard the loons every evening. The beds were comfortable. The fire place kept us warm on the chilly, rainy days. I definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Great vacation home!
Quiet, clean, well-stocked. Nice firepit, plenty of towels and starting essentials (soaps etc.) You can head in different directions from the cabin and find great places to eat. Rhinelander & Minocqua both have great grocery stores to pick up what you need. Friday & Saturday nights, restaurants get extremely busy, so plan accordingly or make reservations if you can. We usually would go somewhere for lunch and stay at the cabin for dinner. I would definitely go back. Great spot!

Beautiful and refreshing
I loved my stay here in this cabin with natural, lodge style finishes and decor. It was exactly as you see in the pictures online, and really had most everything I needed for a restful retreat. The only thing that marred my experience (which I took one star off for) was that the gas fireplace had an annoying loud rattle as it was cooling off from the heating phase. I didn't call the property managers while I was there, because I was on a solo retreat and didn't want to see people, so I just put up with it. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and looking out at the lake was so restful and beautiful.

Very clean with everything you need
My husband & I stayed for a week and the cabin had everything we needed. Very clean! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc. - no need to pack a thing. There were also plenty of bathroom towels, TP, and bedding (not all places we've been to have offered this). It is well water, which I'm sure is safe to drink, but the smell & taste can be a bit off-putting so we bought our own water for drinking & making coffee. We caught many fish right off the pier but unfortunately there were too many weeds to just place a float there and relax (perhaps it's this summer's dry weather, IDK). When I booked I didn't notice there was no A/C until the week before we left but even with the weather in the 80's all week, no A/C was never a problem - the nights were cooler and there are ceiling & floor fans which helps it stay very cool inside. Overall a very nice experience. Quiet & relaxing.

I'm unclear if this is a lake cabin that had not been opened before me this year. A odor was present during the stay. 2)Water also with significant odor. 3)Hot water at kitchen sink but shower water never got very warm for very log?

Very nice stay. Had issues getting fireplace to work - gas valve was set on pilot. The other thing is the cleaning charge is ridiculous for a 1 night stay. Positive note is they let us check in 2 hours early - appreciated that very much.

Quiet winter getaway at Whispering Pines
Well stocked kitchen and everything was very clean and orderly. Furnace kept the cozy cabin toasty even on the coldest days. Decorated very nicely and furniture was comfy. Only complaint is there was a slight odor to the cabin (smell like Grandma & Grandpa's house for lack of a better description). But you got used to the smell and the place as I said earlier was very clean! View from the cabin was spectacular!!

Cute cozy cabin on the lake
This cozy cabin was wonderful! We stayed for 3 nights but could have easily stayed another week. Had a little trouble with the gas fireplace at first but we figured it out eventually. We contacted the support line for help with it and they were quick to respond but when we told them we figured it out they still sent someone out the next day when we weren't there. We didn't like the idea of someone being there with all our stuff. The other negative was the low hanging light in the entryway. My fiance is 6'8" and hit his head several times on it. I'm 5'11" and barely cleared it with my hat and boots on. That being said we would definitely stay here again.
