I was extremely disappointed with my recent hotel stay. We were not notified until the day before arrival that a $500 security deposit would be required, despite the website clearly stating a $100 deposit. This unexpected additional $400 was unreasonable and unacceptable.
Upon entering the room, the floors were sticky, the overall quality of the room was very poor, and the temperature was extremely hot, making the space uncomfortable. The balcony was locked, preventing us from even accessing fresh air, which further added to the frustration. Additionally, the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, which made resolving concerns feel impossible.
We were also required to wear wristbands, and were told we could not bring a guest back, even briefly. This is highly unusual for a hotel stay. We paid for the room and should have been able to enjoy the amenities and our time there without unnecessary restrictions.
Overall, the stay was not pleasant and did not come close to justifying the amount we paid. The experience fell far below reasonable expectations, and I am very frustrated with how the situation was handled.
