When we arrived to check in, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and we were moved to another hotel not in the location we would have opted for. That said, the staff was helpful in calling us a taxi to the new hotel and also for calling the taxi we had coming to pick us up for an extremely time sensitive appointment. They said they tried to call us, but while I received other calls, texts and emails that day, I did not receive any notification about the overbooking. The hotel, or Hotels.com should have gotten in touch w me when they knew they were overbooked. And what's the point of making a reservation if it is going to not be honored?
