I recently stayed at Hotel Føroyar, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel offers stunning views over Tórshavn and the fjords, with comfortable rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. However, the room cleanliness could be improved—I noticed mold in the bathroom, which was disappointing. The breakfast was typical, but the staff, while friendly, were slow, and there were always dirty dishes left on the tables. The location is a bit remote, but the tranquility and beautiful surroundings make it a nice retreat.

The hotel did a wonderful job navigating the strike. Breakfast was delicious and cafe offered several options for lunch and dinner. Rooms were comfortable and clean but due for a refresh. Staff was exceedingly polite and friendly.

Property was nice on a hill away from town. Staff was not too friendly. There were large parties in town. Room was comfortable and quiet, i felt safe. But did not eat on site. Lots of smokers crowded at front door. Large conference center.

Nice hotel away from city
Hotel is good. With nice breakfast spread. However, it is away from the city. Ok if you have a car. The four-bed rooms have view of parking lot. So take care to insist on room with view towards the city.

Staff at desk were helpful. Good Wi-Fi No kitchen utensils in kitchenette. Only standard knives, forks & spoons. No bottle opener, can opener, bread knife etc. Mouldy grapes at breakfast. Hot chocolate not available No hot tube/steam room or sauna within spa. Only charged services such as massage No lift between ground floor & basement (where room was) On request of room services. My stay at this hotel was 5 star. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Faroe Islands. The room, facilities, location and food is amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Amazing hotel, do not hesitate, book this hotel and enjoy the beautiful Faroe Islands!

The hotel has cozy, modern yet sleek rooms. The breakfast was included in our rate and it had lots of options to choose from. We ate in the casual lobby bar and it was delicious, they offer a more upscale restaurant with a set menu as well though we didn't try it. It is a hike from town to the hotel, it's doable in the daylight but it does take at least 20 minutes, maybe longer depending where you're coming from.

When I ordered the room online, I asked for the highest possible floor but I was not told that it is not located in the main building and it can not see the harbor at all! However, this room located in the annex building is very new with much better condition than the main hotel building.

The hotel is very nice and has a privileged location overlooking the city and the harbour. There is absolutely no point to booking a room in the Annex. No view from any room and a walk across the parking lot to get to the main building. The room is comfortable, but not worth the price.
