Excellent location for exploring Tokyo
We enjoyed our stay at Sunroute mostly for the convenience of it so close to Shinjuku JR line and the subway entrance right next door, and the limousine bus picks up from right outside back to airport. The hotel room is a typical room size for Tokyo but the bed was very comfortable and offered all essential amenities. Everything was very efficient from check in to luggage services to laundry. Only stayed 2 nights, would definitely stay again!

Generous size twin room by Japan standard. Location was stand out as a mere 10 min walk to closest station, numerous options to dine out. Breakfast was good and efficient, you can always get a table and the staff works super hard and always kind and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it. Thank you!

I came into Tokyo with the expectation that hotel rooms are generally smaller than what Westerners are accustomed to but that’s ok. We spent most of our day sightseeing and dining out, only coming back to our room to sleep. Breakfast buffet was good. Hotel was very close to Shinjuku station and within walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants.

Hotel is great location, quiet yet central to Shinjuku, which gets very busy and crowded. My only major complaint with the facility is the room HVAC system. No matter what setting you try (Auto, Heat, Cool, Dry, Blow) or temp setting (between 19-28C) it operates binary: Nothing, no air or blows freezing air. I had to constantly turn it on and off. Maybe in the heat of summer you will be fine with the AC on all the time. But the varying temps in Mid-November made this a challenge. Everything else was fine to good.

I have been to quite a few hotels but the services here stand out above the rest! As I noticed there were many customers looking for help for self serve kiosks and there were two girls speaking English trying their best to help👍 and they were extremely helpful and courteous!

Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku. Close to stations, restaurants, shopping. Everything is walking distance. Main lobby has all the toiletries you may need. Staff is English speaking which is nice when you get overwhelmed for the day. Very helpful in checking in and when sending luggage to next destination. Only cons if any, bed & pillows were quite stiff...so I know some ppl won't be adapt to that. And room ac and mini fridge weren't as cold as they could be. But definitely would stay here again..
