great place to stay. I will say the downstairs was much cooler than upstairs though. I didn't know but there isn't wifi either. kinda difficult because the signal is hit or miss there. but overall a great experience. would definitely rent again

For the positives, Love the location, we went down for Jeep invasion, it is close enough to both Cade's Cove and Pigeon Forge. Nice quiet and with a secluded feel even though there is a neighbor. Clean-up was a breeze, the easiest, other places have a check list a mile long. Check in and out was quick and easy all done by the phone. Communication was great we needed to add a night, so I emailed them, they responded with in minutes, which made the process quick and easy. There are a few minor negative things that could improve, but certainly not worth passing this place up for, the pictures are definitely outdated, trees REALLY block the view, railing are loose upstairs and downstairs, address is hard to find (it's not out at the main driveway, its back the right in front of cabin which we drove right by), we had 4 people there for 5 days/4 nights and only had 8 towels for showers and hot tub, no Wi-Fi was a bummer, and trying to figure out how the remotes (all of them were in living room)to the TVs was comical, beds not very comfy.

Townsend Cabin. Lovely
We enjoyed our stay here. The property was quite, clean, and stocked with all the essentials you’ll need to cook, grill etc. Very spacious, two stories. Had a pool table which was nice to play, and of course the hot tub, which actually works as it should, and was very clean. Overall, we would rate our stay here a 4 out of a 5. Only negative thing was no WiFi.

Property nice, but in need of some maintenance. Trees by decks need to be trimmed, they block what could be an awesome view. Carpenter bee problem, wood chips and saw dust fall from the beams overhead. Upstairs deck rail weakened by bees. Did have a mouse chew thru a canvas bag left on the kitchen counter the 2nd night. TVS need to be upgraded. Otherwise roomy, very clean, great location.

The cabin is stunning with a view that’s breathtaking while drinking your morning coffee and reading a book. Wild life was out for some sightseeing moments. The cabin is tucked away in the mountains to give you just enough privacy but close to town, shopping and adventures you desire. NO wifi. So have a plan for contacts, Bed needs replaced.

Stay in Townsend
This was a great place to stay off the beaten path out from all the hustle and bustle. Our family enjoyed our time here. 1 downfall of no WiFi is you also get Zero service in this location. So it made it hard to plan your days and we had to drive up the hill to get enough reception to check in. The mattress in the main bedroom needs replaced unless you like to automatically roll to the center. Other than those smaller issues the cabin was great, it was very peaceful and a nice ending to our days. It has a great view of the mountains and the kids loved the hot tub.

A few issues, but great place
Overall this place was very cute and had a beautiful view. Our trip was fantastic! Just a few things to note... The house itself was very close to another house, (shared driveway) which may or not matter to the visitor, but it's something to consider when you go - ie, if your neighbor smokes on their porch and you're not a smoker, or if they're loud and up late, and you go to be early, it could be an issue. Thankfully we had no problems, although it did take away from the whole isolation feeling we looked for. We had a few maintenance issues that I won't list, because so far, they plan to work with us to fix the issues and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Very important - if you have young children, you definitely want to be very aware of the steep dip by the entrance, since this is on a mountain and this little "cliff" is really dangerous. There is no fence or anything that would deter a child from trying their hand at flying, or maybe wanting to slide down there and explore! It's just to the left of the main door steps. This is likely on many of the houses, because of the landscape on a mountain, but really be aware of it. Remember there is no wifi! We weren't worried about it until we bought several antiques that we wanted to research online, or wanted to map out a plan for the day, or wanted to check our bank accounts. We had to wait to leave the mountain each day, and even then, signal reception was short and sketchy. Also, the TV's are quite old, so if you're looking for a more modern experience, you won't get that. They're smallish and look as if they're from 20+ years ago, so that's a thing. DVD player has no fast forward or rewind. We were there mainly for the antiquing so it was no issue for us. The bed upstairs is uncomfortable - if you have young bones, you likely will be fine, as it's a big king sized bed. But for the older people, not so much. It sags terribly and has no support. We slept in the downstairs bed, which was much more comfortable, although downstairs there is a little musty smell. In summary, you will love the little layout of this place, it's clean, the a/c and heat work like a dream, the view is beautiful, the neighboring house was quiet (for us) and there are more antique shops than you can possibly fit into one vacation. We're working on a list of maintenance issues to send to the manager and they've been great so far. Have a great stay!

Great for family of 4
We stayed for 4 nights and were not in the cabin much. We had a jam packed schedule with Dollywood and other daily activities. Great place to return at night... have a soak in the hot tub, play a few games of pool, and recap the days fun before bed. Not big enough for a large family but perfect size for family of 4. Everything was clean and nice when we got there. Mattresses could use replacing. Nice view of the mountains. Nice parking. Would not recommend in winter due to steep road up to cabin.

Incredible view and location!
We were looking for an affordable getaway with a view, and didn't need as much space as some cabins offer. This place could not have been a better fit for me and my partner. Check-in was easy, the cabin had all of the amenities we needed, and the two decks were fantastic. Only note is that the hot tub needed to be cleaned out. Would definitely stay again!

Cabin on the hill
Loved the property, but could have been cleaner. The cushions on the main couch were ripped making it uncomfortable to sit in wearing shorts. We ended up covering the entire couch with one of our large blankets. Overall, the cabin was very nice, located in a great area, and very private. We loved the experience.
