The Space:
Welcome to the Blue Water Front Street Retreat. This lovely third-floor 2-bedroom condo is located on Downtown Traverse City's main drag and is just minutes from the epicenter of all things fun in TC! From its lively nightlife and nationally renowned food scene to its stunning family-friendly beaches, park, and hiking and biking trails, the Blue Water Retreat offers guests a prime location with lots of walkability and all the "at home" comfort they could want.
Located on the third floor, our guests enjoy limited noise interruptions as there are no floors above our unit. We also do not have an elevator, so this unit is more situated for active families and couples who don't mind taking the stairs. Inside our unit, we boast lots of eastern-facing windows and plenty of natural light throughout the open floorplan. Guests will find the large centrally located living room to be a great space for entertaining or for kicking back and watching a movie on our smart TV. The kitchen is also fully stocked and has everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner or to cook a simple breakfast.
The large primary bedroom features a king-size bed with a full-size ensuite bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The second bedroom is off the kitchen and features a queen-size bed with a closet and a laundry room. There is a parking lot at the rear of the building with one parking space designated for this unit. If you park in any other unit’s parking space your vehicle can be towed without your notice. There is additional parking available at Hardy Parking Garage at 303 E State Street. Parking in the alley behind the condo is not allowed.
Rental Policy:

- No Pets Allowed.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- Minimum booking age is 25
To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $49 for 1-29 nights, $249 for 30-59 nights, $319 for 60-89 nights, and $390 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $49 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.
Guest Access:
This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instruction before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

Getting Around:
Traverse City offers a variety of taxi services as well a Uber and Lyft. While a vehicle is not required to get around from this property, we find most guests will prefer this to be able to explore the region.
Other Things to Note:
Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, and full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.
CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.
•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.
•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)
•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)
•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.
•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.
•Put patio cushions back. (If applicable.)
•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes may result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.
•Turn off all lights.
•Lock the door.
