Enjoy the Best of Both Worlds on Beautiful Silver Lake

This 1700 square foot, year round family home has plenty of room plus a walk out basement. There is 65 feet of sandy lake frontage on Silver Lake with a gradual slope that is great for swimming. There is a stone patio with fire pit for lounging and a dock for your boat. Silver Lake is spring fed and is great for jet skis, tubing, water skiing, swimming and fishing.


Amenities & Activities: Air conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet, full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils provided, linens provided, washer and dryer, gas grill (BBQ), no smoking, no pets and no use of fireplace.
Swimming, boating, shopping at Grand Traverse Mall, jet skiing, golf, sea plane rides on lake, tennis.

Area: 15 minutes from Traverse City, 10 minutes to Interlochen Academy
Weekly rentals only June, July , August.
Weekly rentals start on Saturday to Saturday.
If you need to cancel I will immediately re-rent and if I get the booking amount you will be refunded that amount. If I get a lesser amount due to short time to arrival you will get that amount.
I will absorb the credit card fee on the initial booking. The second payment is by check directly to me or pay the three percent credit card fee second payment.

Girls weekend away

We loved the property. There were enough beds for everyone. The front deck looked over a beautiful lake; it was so calming and peaceful! Great location to Traverse City and area happenings. We had a wonderful weekend! The host was very easy to contact and communicate with!

Best Firepit on Silver Lake

Great location and property. Very easy to work with the owners and the house was clean and had all the amenities needed. Used the kayaks every day and had a fire each night in the firepit overlooking the lake. Can't say enough great things about the house and location. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

The cabin was perfect for our stay! Beautiful setting! Cabin was very clean and very well stocked! Had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay very much! Host was very responsive! Would love to return in the summer!

Wow!!! What an amazing place!!

We booked for the weekend for our daughters wedding. When we arrived we were in absolute awe of the view and the home. If you're looking for a negative about this place, its that you have to leave. We wanted to stay and enjoy everything! The house was so clean and eveything was right there. Wow. Wow wow. Is all I can say.

Great stay near Traverse City

We had a great stay at this property near Traverse City. It accommodated our group 11 (6 adults / 5 kids) great! Being right on the lake (and having kayaks available for use) was fantastic. Kitchen was well-stocked. Communication and logistics were a breeze. The only nit we would have is that the basement (where one of the bedrooms is) was quite cold, and there was no way to turn back the air conditioner down there. Despite that, we would still definitely recommend this place!

Great house on the lake!

Stayed at this property over the memorial day weekend. The house has everything you need. The lake is beautiful. Beautiful backyard with fire pit kayaks, dock everything you need for vacation. Would stay there again. Richard is very helpful and always available.

Our family of ten occupied this house for four nights over Thanksgiving. Wonderful stay! Fully stocked kitchen; beds for everyone; beautiful lakefront views. We had the best gathering in quite awhile and the accommodations add to the pleasure. Definitely will stay again.

Exactly what we needed!

This house was perfect for our 3 small families on Iceman weekend. A bit far from the start line, but a quick 25 minutes from Timber Ridge. The house was spacious and had everything we needed and then some in the kitchen. The lake is gorgeous, and we caught a beautiful sunrise. The teens enjoyed their own space to hang out in the basement away from the parents :-) Overall a really nice rental, and it was nice to chat with the owner the night before we arrived, in case we had any questions.

We slept 12 comfortably in this cabin for a girls family trip! The cabin was super clean, and we had no issues at all. The host is extremely friendly and easy to reach. Definitely would stay again! Beautiful view on the lake too!!

Best Girls Get Away Ever!

All 8 of us loved this house and it could not have been better! Everything we needed was right there on site. We were celebrating each other and the completion of one niece getting "carded" as a new physician and earned a well deserved break! Everything in the home was pristinely clean and comfortable, great beach front was beautiful.We are thinking we will make this an annual event! Perfect getaway

Truly a great spot

This was my first time up here to traverse city and first time renting a home. The place was amazing, clean and I loved the landscape done in the back. Came up on a colder part of the season but nonetheless the getaway for us was needed and this was the perfect choice!

Great Week at the Lake

Had a wonderful week at the house - very clean and had all the things we could need for water fun, cooking, and enjoying the lake. House was a fun set up for our family. Close to Traverse City and easy to get around in the area. Would definitely stay again!
