My only complaint was noise. About 10:30 pm, it sounded like someone was doing maintenance on the ice machineā€¦ for about an hour. And at 5 am, I thought I was at batting, hearing a bat make contact with a baseball every 5 secondsā€¦ also for almost an hour.

Came for the Great Turtle race on Mackinac Island. This place is an easy shuttle ride or walk to the ferry. Also close to shops and dining and grocery. Staff was great. The room was nice. The hotel was clean.

Plesantly surprised
Let me first say, i generally shy away from any of the Wyndam hotel chains. BUT this hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. Skipped the breakfast, since it was typical hotel fare, and there is an excellent bakery about 3 blocks away.

Good for a night or two
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Somewhat noisy hallways which could be improved with better doors on the rooms. Also, breakfast needs to be improved, sausages were grey in color, only plain white for bagel options, and your typical "hotel" scrambled eggs.

Property was well maintained and clean. The only drawback was the way the bathroom amenities were set up -- sink and bathroom counters were outside the bathroom which some might prefer (ability for one person to use bathroom/shower while another has sink access/gets ready outside) but it just didn't work well for our family of four. The tub faucet that controls the water temperature was also loose, and the water pressure was low. Other than those two small issues everything was good. Breakfast was enjoyable and the hotel was right across the street from the Shepler Ferry shuttle and walking distance to Mackinaw Crossing.
