The staff was nice but it was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed at! First of all the hotel and the area around were full of spiders, apparently, it is spider season in October but it would be good not to have spiders inside the hotel room,the screen on the balcony door was so old and full of holes that it had no purpose in keeping out spiders and other insects Second, I don't think anyone had ever dusted the room, except for the main area like the table, TV stand, and bathroom counter everything else was dirty and full of dust The shower curtain was moldy and so old The AC was so old and loud AND I FOUND AN EYELASH EXTENSION ON THE BADFRAME Don’t think I’ll be staying in there again, which is a shame cause the view from the room was beautiful and the location was great

They made extra effort to stay with our dogs they gave us a ground floor close to the dog run area. Front desk was very helpful and informative. I did not get her name but the checkin lady was happy friendly and knowledgeable she was great!!!!! Thank you

The room was nice comfortable and very affordable. However the room did not have a microwave or refrigerator. When we came back on Monday and we selected a different room with a microwave and refrigerator. Apparently you should specify that you want a room with a microwave and refrigerator. Also there's no breakfast. But for the cost, none of that stuff mattered.

Great price for amazing hotel. Highly recommend

No breakfast but coupons for local restaurants. Room was clean, beach was beautiful They have firepits available for use. Front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable for trips in Mackinaw city/island. Can get 'discount' tickets for the ferry rides. Takes off about a dollar per ticket. I visited during off season so the pool/waterpark was closed but looked great!

The staff are friendly but this hotel is disgusting. The "waterpark" is filthy-- the pool and hot tub haven't been cleaned or serviced in years. The water slides have been blocked off since 2019, which was one of the reasons we booked. It was my bad for not reading recent reviews. The arcade is not functioning and the fitness room has a broken bike and treadmills dangerously set up against the wall. They no longer serve breakfast. Our room smelled musty. There are much better options to stay in the area and I would avoid this one at all costs.

For $80, it wasn’t bad, but pretty rough. The “water park” area was a bonus for the kids but was probably about 20 years overdue for a refresh. Booking this, I saw this had a 7.x rating. That was daily accurate. I wouldn’t say that I’d never be back, but would probably try another place first
