The Inn is convenient to downtown as well as Wesleyan. We were assigned rooms 20 & 21 which were on the ground floor which abutted the parking and trash area and back access door. Every time someone accessed the back doors, our rooms would shake - enough to wake me up. And, then at the 5am the garage truck collected the trash from the adjacent alley which again, woke us up. The hotel is the best choice in town but be sure to ask for a room on a higher floor.

Middletown Gem

The Inn is quaint, cozy and inviting. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed dining in the Tavern...all the wait staff awesome! Highly recommend staying!!!

The hotel manager appeared to follow me down my hallway and watched me enter my room with my child. I did not feel safe. It was not super dirty in the room but just felt like it was in need of repair. The heating unit appeared to have mold. The room was freezing cold but I didn’t want to run the dirty heating unit or ask for help. The shower was a cold trickle. Would avoid in future for sure.
