This hotel was such a great pick for my trip to Bergen. It is literally steps away from Bryggen, the waterfront, dining, shopping, and local transportation bus stops and around 10 minute walk to the airport train stop. The room was spacious and clean and had windows to open for fresh cool air. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was almost overwhelming with the amount of food options but was all delicious. They also offer a light dinner option as well, which I chose not to partake in, but smelled delicious. Do yourself a favor and visit the top of the tower for a beautiful, unobstructed, sunset view. All the staff was very friendly and very helpful with questions. The staff even filled my reusable water bottle with ice each morning at the lobby bar. Will definitely stay again if I get another chance to come to Bergen.

Really calm friendly hotel. Staff were excellent. The hotels food service was eco-minded to reduce waste. This lead to good food but small choice. This really wasn’t a problem. All included. Loved our stay!

The hotel is ideally placed for historic Bryggen and the centre of Bergen. The interior is attractive and makes good use of the building's historic features. The staff were all friendly, polite and couldn't have helped more. The breakfast buffet was huge, offering hot and cold options. The afternoon pancakes were a nice touch but the real gem is the complimentary evening meal. A hot and cold buffet that easily provided a filling and satisfying dinner option. Overall, an excellent hotel that is highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. They upgraded us to a suite which was very comfortable with a great view of the harbor. The free breakfast and dinner was very delicious, not your usual free hotel meals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location in the old city of Bergen. Convenient to shopping & restaurants with a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to the airport. Wonderful breakfast included & complimentary dinner was quite good as well. Staff could not have been more pleasant and so very helpful. There isn’t a negative thing to say. Do not hesitate to book your stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Of particular note is the viewing tower. The property is on the site of the former nautical viewing tower. They have preserved this & turned it into a mini history room plus viewing tower.

We loved the architecture and decoration of the hotel, except the very ugly price they received for that :-) Nice breakfast, convenient dinner buffet and so close to the center. Really optimal. Would recommend it for sure.

What a beautiful property and location! Even better, the staff knows how to be great hoteliers...happy, always helpful, fun. Breakfast buffet is superb. Be sure to get the 360 harbor view from the tower terrace.
