My only complaint -- on two occasions, I've left things behind in my hotel room; and in neither case did the hotel manage to get the item back to me. Otherwise a very pleasing hotel.

Within walking distance to Royal Palace, shopping and dining. Bathtub/shower was a little slippery, other than that, everything was perfect. Staff was very attentive and nice as can be! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Anna in the hotel restaurant was very welcoming and attentive from our first morning at breakfast, until our stay was over. The hotel was lovely, the room was wonderful, all staff was helpful. The location was within walkable distances to all of the places we wanted to visit. The ferries, trains, trams, and buses were only steps away. I really can’t say enough about our experience here, just wonderful!

while this is, in concept a top hotel, it is dated and they do not value the guests. in a 5 day stay, my tv did not work and each day i made the same request, was told it would be fixed and repeated it day in and day out. the bedroom carpet was stained and upon follow up to management about my horrible stay, they disregarded it and insinuated i was still happy with my stay after 5 days of complaints. they have ZERO sense of service despite friendly at first glance in person. i would NOT recommend this hotel.

Classic charm hotel
Hotel Diplomat is a wonderful hotel. Our room was amazing. Very comfortable with two comfortable sitting chairs for having coffee etc. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is definitely one of old school charm I believe built in the 19th century. It has one of the old time elevators inside a cage which was charming but on more than one occasion someone on one floor would forget to close the outer door which would render the elevator useless. Certainly not a reflection on the staff, just a note. The restaurant prepared dinners very well and the breakfast buffet was nice as well. The hotel is located right in the venter of shopping and dining and is right on the bus and team route for easy travel. Highly recommend
