Hotel doubled billed for room.I have a charge for the same room for the same night on two different credit cards. The hotel refuses to work with me to resolve the dispute. Needless to say, this is poor customer service.

The person on duty was Anita. She was very helpful. Even took the time to clean off a table by the fireplace so we could enjoy our dinner there instead of our room as the restaurant was closed for Thanksgiving. She mad3 a fresh pot of coffee for us to enjoy also. She was cheerful and went out of way to make feel at home.

Very unique hotel due to its historic vibe. Very quaint and cozy. Very pet friendly! They even have a little area off the main restaurant where you can dine with your dog laying by your table as long as they are well behaved. There were at least three or four dogs there with their owners eating dinner by us with our Dachshund. It was very cute. Lots of comfort food on the menu and it was wonderful to have a restaurant right in the hotel since we had our pets with us.

The Customer Service is always spot on, but the food is outstanding and everyone eating in there (hotel guests and locals) are just as friendly as can be. I stayed with a pet and their dog area is luscious green grass with plenty of bags available. For a small town and a small venue hotel, they are the Ritz!

This property was amazing and the highlight of Van Horn, NOT Jeff Bezos Blue Origin… NOT the caverns… Hotel El Capitan!!! It was an unexpected breath of fresh air in a very gloomy and dire situation. Staying here helped me mentally manage what I was going through. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and carried conversations as if we were friends for years. And they did that with everyone. I cannot even put into wits at the moment how amazing this place was. I guess, you could pick it up and place it in Miami, New York, Cali, Chicago.. wherever!, it would hold its own. That’s how great it was
