It was definitely the worst place I stayed at. There were dead roaches on the floors, AC and fridge weren’t working properly and bathtub was clogged. They moved us to another room where amenities were working but still roaches and dirt. Besides that, staff was friendly.

Older property, but the rooms are very neat and clean and the furnishings good - pet friendly (and free!) - if you don't get up the minute breakfast is served you miss out - I've yet to have the breakfast because I arrived at 8am instead of 6:30 - lol

Brandon, the front desk person, was very friendly and efficient. The room was immaculate! There were a fair number of options included at the free breakfast, and there was a person making sure that the area stayed clean. The cost of the room was an added bonus. Looking forward to my next stay.

The Red Roof hotel in Van Horn, Tx. Is an old hotel, In an quaint little town. The hotel has been refurbished. The room was clean, Updated and well maintained. The hotel had all the basics for the traveler that is passing through. And the price was right.

I’ve stayed here many times but this time had some challenges. First challenge was checking in. I booked on line for one night, one room, for one person. I scanned my card at the desk and the price was for one night but when I went to sign, it was for two nights. The male clerk said I scanned my card too early, blaming me for the extra night. I don’t think so. Next the a/c needed some maintenance. It blew cold air but when it kicked on it was loud and then later had a screeching noise during the night. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. The coffee was also good and not watered down.
