Enjoyed our quick stay. Easy to access and park. Breakfast was good (but no protein) and the attendant made sure everything was refilled. Room was large but had a fair amount of wasted space; really needs a vanity and mirror outside the bathroom as bathroom was very small with no counter space or storage and door into bathroom opened into bathroom making it smaller and hard for two of us to use the mirror.

The man at check in who had a tattoo located on his neck( adams apple area), was beyond rude. He was condescending, arrogant and dismissive of my concern for announcing my room number at check in, infront of the other 2 guests who checked in. This is a safety concern. You should never announce which room a guestvis staying in. a simple " your romm is located on the 2nd floor" would have been suffient. When he swiped my cc , he said "I just took your information" I asked him if he took a hold for incidentals because i prepaid. He said very lodly and rudely 'i said I Juuuust took your information". The check in experience was out of a comedy movie of how bad it was. First and last time staying there because of him. The woman at check out was lovely. The man would be a great example in training videos how not to treat people.Worst checkin experience ever. Evefytime he opened his mouth it was to speak rudely and down to me

Everything in the room has recently been renewed - all furniture, bathroom fixtures, carpet, etc. Very convenient location especially if taking the Horseshoe Bay ferry the next morning. Nice neighborhood.

The air unit is incredibly loud and there was no screen on our window, so opening it up was a little sketchy. Definitely couldn’t open it for air flow and leave for a the day.

I booked a kitchenette room. The hotel said we upgraded your room to a suite. I walked into room 303 and the smell was absolutely horrible. The walpaper was peeling off the walls every pieces of furniture smelled terrible and was covered in stains..i am ok with very aged rooms as long as the room is clean. But this room was beyond run down and dirty. I know the hotel does have a few updated rooms but the hotel would not accommodate us to even give us a basic reno room. All they offered was one night in a reno room and a discount on a room i wouldnt even sit for five mins because it was that dirty. So we were forced to get our m9bey back and find a new hotel on a Thursday night. It worked out well the move to the new hotel as we found a gem downtown. Now i also wanted to mention how smelly the couch is in the lobby as well. Its is horrendous smelly and pretty stained too. I recommend getting furniture that can be cleaned and that is meant for heavy use. I unfortunately will never stay here again knowing their cleaning practices are below sup par. That is the number one thing that will ruin a hotwl. Also the fact that a pool and hottub were still advertised on Expedia but has been gone for 5 years is a big deal to a family that may thonk its there and specifically stay here for it. Very deceiving to allow this false information still on the booking sire.

What I have always liked is the value for the buck that this hotel continues to deliver! The only thing I didn't like is when I 1st began using this hotel they served a "hot" breakfast, but due to Covid-19 and even afterwards, they've gone from brown-bagging it to a continental style. I truly hope that someday they are able to get back to serving the "hot" breakfast selection which was on par with the the national chains (i.e. Holiday Inn)

I love this hotel!!! We’ve been coming here for many many years! The beds are insanely comfy and the room is so clean and well equipped. Also its easy and fast to control the temperature. And the staff is so hugely helpful!!! The price is so reasonable. We love it!!!
