Property is very clean but rooms are too small. There is no space to open bags even. There was no AC so nights were very hot even after shutting down heat. Staff asked us to open windows. The windows does open on the street so anybody can come in. When I say open, it’s really open without any further barrier so it was not safe at night to keep it open. The breakfast buffet was good is the only positive point. Also, it is close to train station. In general, I would not recommend this hotel for this price. Not for families.

The customer service representative was by far the nicest we had met in Italy. He was very accommodating. Just the simple pleasure of having conditioner in the shower was amazing. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing and completely worth it. Everything was within walking distance, a quick walk across the bridge and we had the most delicious gelato. This hotel couldn’t be more perfect. It may look a bit plain and rough from the outside, but you can’t judge a book by its cover. You can not beat the service offered here by hotel rep and restaurant staff. The best. I would definitely stay here again. And recommend it to any friend or family.

After an overnight flight from MA we werw able to check in extremely early (10am instead of 3 PM Front desk staff was excellent helpful and empathetic!! The hotel is very clean, located very close to bus (2 minute walk and train 8 minute walk) This is a very “Americanized “hotel, very clean with fabulous staff and VERY comfortable beds.

Nice hotel with good location
The hotel is in a good location and it is a nice property, but there isn't a view. Our room is looking straight into another building with renovation scaffolding. But it is conveniently close to the public water transportation. I chose it for our last night in Venice because it is close to the port where our Windstar cruise disembarked, and we can take a land taxi to the airport. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is good, but there are no frills to the rooms. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice property. Great location and convenience for transferring from train and connecting to cruise. Nice modern rooms. Front desk staff could have been a little more friendly. In asking some questions of them it almost seems as if we were bothering them. Nonetheless, I would stay there again.

Room was small and there was not enough luggage stands. When the bathroom light was on, because of a glass window towards the room, the bright light shone into the sleeping area. Room for its size at around E500, was over priced !

Having transitioned from a great Hyatt boutique-hotel in Milan that provided a wonderful breakfast—all at a much more reasonable rate, in comparison, the AC Hotel Venice came off feeling bland and mediocre at best and, given its exorbitant price, presented more like a B&B than anything closely resembling a Marriott-branded hotel with its characteristic ‘wow factor’. Our room was devoid of any character while the hotel’s extra-cost breakfast was average and hosted in a cramped area near the lobby’s bar. While there was no question that the front-office staff were very helpful during our stay, the rest of the experience was just okay.
