We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Becher very much. The location was great, and the hotel was well maintained and reasonable. The best part was the staff. Elena went way over and above in helping us to secure a train connection to Rome. It worked out very well and we would not have been able to do it without her help. We also were very pleased with two of the front desk clerks, Marco Gracie was one and also the man who checked us in whose name I don’t know. They both were terrific and very pleasant in helping us with everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay there if we would go to Venice again.

Really good staff, excellent location, comfortable
I stayed for 9 nights and had a great time. It was really convenient, just a 3 minute walk to Piazza San Marco, yet it was still quite quiet. The free breakfast was very good. Staff were terrific. Wifi was fast. Will go back again.

My husband and I loved Hotel Becher. It had the feel of Venice we were looking for. The hotel was located near all of the beautiful attractions in St Mark Square without the noise and crowds. The balcony was a great bonus for us to be able to watch the gondolas go by.

We had an amazing stay! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Our room overlooked the canal and we could watch the Gondola’s pass by. St. Marco square was a short walk, Rialto bridge short walk! The water taxi took us right to Hotel Becher. Excellent breakfast.

I was so charmed by my small, elegant room with window opening to the canal and gondoliers. The staff were amazing especially Francesca and Marco and the breakfast was very nice (delicious scrambled eggs too). I would recommend this petite and incredibly convenient charmer and would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Becher. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. I was so impressed by their communication even before our trip started. They booked all of our water taxis as well as dinner reservations. This made our travelling totally stress free. They even booked our taxi and private shuttle to Trieste for arrival the day before our cruise. The room was clean and comfortable…had everything we needed. The location is perfect….you can walk to all of the major attractions. St Marks Square is 4 min to walk and Rialto Bridge is 6 min. The included breakfast had a good variety and was a nice touch to help to start your day. Being on the canal watching the gondolas go by was very relaxing as well as arrival from the airport by water taxi directly to the hotel was so convenient. We will recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Venice…you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful hotel with the perfect central location and THE BEST staff. They were so helpful with everything we needed. The room was so beautiful. One thing to note is that it can be loud in the morning with canal traffic, but that didn't bother us as it felt like being part of life in Venice. 😊 Highly recommend!

The hotel was in a nice location. Staff was good from the receptionist and the 3 Filipinos who worked in tne dining area and the houskeeper were amazing. Our complaints is that our room is hot even with the electricfan that was provided. The AC didnt work well.. Also the carpet in our room has a big stain. Breakfast was good !

Classic, convenient, and quaint!
Classic Venetian style room with cute balcony to watch gondolas go by. Wish I could upload pics but app says the file size is too large. Francesca was lovely, gave us simple directions. Hotel sent email before stay to set up a Water taxi from airport which went straight to hotel. Breakfast was delightful with charcuterie, cheese, espresso and pastries. In the evening order drinks and sit by canal to watch boats and relax. Would stay here again if we visit venice again. Great location-close to everything!

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Highly recommend the water taxi from the airport to the hotel (which the hotel arranged) and back again. The taxi took us straight to the hotel’s jetty. It saved us a lot of time and hassle with luggage, finding our way, etc. Marco was a great host, making us a coffee after a busy day sightseeing. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for walking to the major sights. We booked water bus tickets and did a round trip of the Canal on Line 2, leaving just in front of the Doge’s Palace. The Rialto Bridge was in walking distance too. Our room was very well equipped with a mini fridge and safe, plenty of towels and slippers (a lovely touch!) and toiletries. My husband thought the mattress was a bit hard but I slept very well. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice of rolls, hams, cheeses, pastries, jams, toast, scrambled eggs and sausages as well as juices, tea and coffee. We welcomed the aircon as it was extremely hot during our stay. This is a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay there again, hopefully for a few more nights next time as we didn’t get to see everything in the time we had.
