What a beautiful hotel! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Venice. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, but we also loved our room! We had a lovely canal view with an ocean breeze and a very comfortable bed. The room was filled with beautiful furniture. It even had a Murano glass chandelier! We enjoyed the bar area near the lobby where there are evening snacks and you can order cocktails as well. The location was very walkable to all points of interest as well as amazing restaurants. What an enchanting place.

Good hotel for the money. Location was about a half hour walk to the train station, which is why we chose it. Staff was helpful and room was very clean. It was not over-the-top fancy, but breakfast was wonderful!

Unique property with excellent staff and atmosphere. Rooms are clean with excellent air conditioning, if a little small (but still good for Europe). Breakfast was very good with great variety and proper coffee. The large garden & outdoor spaces as well as the common lounge areas are delightful. Would love to stay here again.

We loved staying here. It was relatively quiet compared to being on the grand canal though we could see the latter from our window and we were near everything.The rooms were lovely, the breakfast had many interesting food choices and the staff were great. They were so helpful with our many questions. We highly recommend the Pensione.

We love this place! Second time for me, first time for my sister. They hotel and the staff are the best! Gorgeous setting. Away from the heavy crowds, but just a two minute walk from the Accademia bridge, aquabus stop, and art gallery.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but very close to The Grand Canal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely garden to enjoy a glass of wine. 20 minute walk to St. Marks. The only negative about this hotel is the lack of an elevator.

Excellent property right off the Grand Canal. Walkable to St Marks Square. Nice little restaurants everywhere. Hotel has an excellent breakfast included. We needed to take a water taxi from the Port after our cruise to get there.

10/10 recommend this property! It’s such a hidden gem in the perfect area. So quiet but also in walking distance to many restaurants and historic sights. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Venice in the future! The gardens both in the front and back are stunning and so relaxing. You feel like you have your own little oasis in the hot city. Breakfast is great, service is superb, rooms are a throw back into the past. Spring for a bigger room with the view of the canal and gardens you won’t be disappointed!

We had a great stay! The hotels staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable and the AC worked great! Full disclosure- Our room was on the third floor with no lift so pack light. The hotel generously loaned us beach towels so we could go to Lido for the day - which was fantastic. Restaurants and shopping nearby. 2 minute walk to vaporetto. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing service in Italian, English and French, the staff is ahead of our every need. They gave us access to our room ahead of time since it was ready. The breakfast was very good and well organized. The gardens are really nice. The room #42 was of sufficient size. All amenities were clean and in good working order. The shower was very nice spacious enough for us two. There is litterally no down side to this hotel and nothing to improve. Just keep up the good work. We felt like royalty. Grazie mille Merci de votre accueil généreux.

Wonderful Hotel!
We really enjoyed the hotel Pensione Accademia-Villa Maravege! It is located in a quiet area of Venice yet is walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff was very helpful giving directions and the breakfast offered a great variety of foods and was delicious! There is a beautiful garden area where you can eat outside and there is an additional pretty little park-like area in the back.

The hotel was an ideal location for water taxi’s pick up and drop offs. It was a nice hotel. Only issues we had was that the central air wasn’t working well and we had to keep telling the front desk to fix the issue. The other thing was that the hotel runs on low electric so you can’t bring your own blow dryer or clothing steamer because you will trip the circuit breaker. Also, they won’t bring an iron to your room, you have to go to the laundry area and iron it from there. I was supposed to have the VIP 20% off food and that wasn’t applied.
