My poor review is due to the state of the washroom. Our shower was backed up, things floating in the tub when we turned on the shower, and the sink did not drain. We reported it to the hotel manager. The hotel was full so they couldn’t move us. I am extremely disappointed that we were still charged full price. Besides this, the hotel is in an excellent location and the front desk staff were lovely.

Perfect location
We were so happy with the check in and the check out. We arrived early, the front desk took our luggage and about an hour later I received a text message saying our room was ready The room was clean and comfy. The front desk warned us about no airconditioning, but they had put a fan in our room which was perfect They also had a bar and restaurant attached.

Husband using a walker with a suitcase on top and I pulling a larger suitcase and using a cane, got off ferry across street from hotel and expected to walk up a ramp to hotel. No ramp. Had to walk to end of block and up a block and go around to back of hotel (which is parking lot and main entrance). It was also raining. Very inconvenient. When leaving with walker or suitcases, we had to carry the walker down many steps to street, and when checking out we had to carry all suitcases down, and then carry the walker down. Won't stay there again.

Great location from the ferry but this old hotel has very small rooms, full size beds (small), and tiny bathrooms without fans. No air conditioning and muggy weather made sleeping difficult. Good food at the attached restaurant.

I will stay here again which says everything! I am a seasoned traveler and appreciated everything about this place for the price point I wanted to be in. Genuinely friendly staff, one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, perfect location for being in the inner harbor and clean!
