Smelling like the inside of a museum, the room had all the charm of an impending house clearance in which, the recently-deceased owner still sat watching tv. The bathroom, installed when the hotel was first built, appeared to have been neither maintained nor cleaned since. The view from the window of the local vagrants congregating as they dug through trash cans, sharing both their finds and narcotics was only made worse by the sliding balcony door, just a few feet above street level, failing to securely lock. Curiously, the room must have seen recent used, evidenced by the stained bedsheets and dribbles of urine that remained on the toilet seat. This hotel clearly died some time ago and, though the staff and ownership have yet to acknowledge the fact, wary travellers should avoid staying in the corpse of this establishment.
