Always a great hotel to take the kids for an adventure. They love the separate living room and bedroom. Breakfast is always great as well.

Second time I was there with my family. Nice area around DC. Hotel staff were nice especially breakfast staff. Our room was a bit cold and they changed it but the second room was not warm enough. Hotel needs to be updated( room, gym, pool). Overlay I liked it but next time I might look around for other options.

Expect better at Embassy Suites.
Aging property, lack of amenities in the bedroom (working outlets, usb ports, bedside tables). Breakfast doesn’t stack up against other Embassy Suites properties- although they offered made to order omelettes, they were poorly made, there was no waffle station, and the rest of the offerings were nothing special. Coffee was not brewed (made instant from a machine), and although there were real plates, the utensils were really cheap plastic. Shampoo and shower gel were watered down.. you had to use way too much to get a decent lather. No maid service during a 3 night stay, so no clean towels or refills of the self service coffee bar. The ‘new improved’ Lysol cleaning process left a very strong irritating smell in the room.

Nothing against the actual property but i booked a stay here in error, i contacted them immediately and was given a response i could cancel. Now they are stating they aren't waiving the cost of the room, if they told me that then i would have stayed there. Poor customer service.

Interesting Visit
Initially the room was nice and check in was easy, along with the breakfast, however, $10 a day for two vehicles parking is crazy when the entry ways are open for the parking lot. I’ve stayed here multiple times and was not charged for parking. Additionally, we had to switch rooms due to the lack of cleanliness in our first one. The room included a sofa bed and it was completely disgusting, but also would not go back into the couch. There were stains, dirt and trash on it. Paying for a room that is to include a sofa bed should not have been in the condition it was. Plus there was dust everywhere. We were surprised by the condition of the rooms but appreciate the accommodation of moving us. We did not want to use the sofa bed in the next room though, as now we are wondering if all sheets and beds are of this nature.

What a mess
Res via hotels.com. Credit card within the reservation. Hotel denied checkin blaming the online site for not receiving the money or payment guarantee. Took over two hours to clarify including phone calls to hotels.com. I the father booked got daughter and 2 grandsons. Hotel clerk did not answer my phone calls for the entire time.

Room cleaning was a joke.
I stayed for 3 days on a business trip. The room cleaning on day 1 was very bad. Bed was made like a 4 year old. Hair left in sink. Towels were not renewed and trash bins were not emptied. After I complained the service was fine. But no apologies or make good.
