I recently had a disappointing experience at what I can only describe as one of the worst accommodations I've ever encountered. The conditions were utterly deplorable. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the filth. The furniture was not only outdated but also falling apart. The couch and computer chair were soiled, and the bed had questionable brown stains on the bedskirt/boxspring. The room had a persistent smell of cigarettes, mildew, and mold that made it hard to breathe. To make matters worse, the light fixtures flickered ominously, adding to the overall unsettling atmosphere. The security of the room was concerning, as the bolt lock was broken. I felt far from safe, especially with homeless individuals loitering around the property. While I didn’t see any roaches inside my room, I did spot them crawling on the windows outside, which is incredibly off-putting. The photos advertised online are misleading; they make it seem like a hotel when, in reality, it’s more akin to a motel. It reminded me of a budget place like Motel 6, but honestly, even that would be an upgrade from this experience. The breakfast was pitiful—just bread, juice, and coffee. Additionally, the elevator was out of service, which was inconvenient. I made the decision to leave after just one night. This place is not worth your time or money. It is dirty, unsafe, and incredibly poorly managed. I would strongly advise seeking accommodations elsewhere. Literally ANYWHERE ELSE.

Hotel had some bugs and roaches crawling. Floor was sticky. Overall, it’s not really a good stay. It’s a shame because proximity of the location was great and the staff were pleasant.

Don’t Wait Exterminate and Replace Immediately
Upon arrival I was offered a room that was not what I paid for. When informed I was asked to wait for one to be cleaned. Once available there was a cover placed over the countertop where the kitchenette stove belonged. While waiting for my room a couple complained about the noise next door and cockroaches. The receptionist gladly moved their room to a corner room. Upon arrival the room was very clean. The furniture was dated but served its purpose. After 9:00 that evening I had visits from cockroaches. I saw four one in the kitchen and three in the bathroom. One large and three small ones. At check out I mentioned it to the two men at the front desk. I ask them to consider spraying immediately.

The room was in the poorest condition that I have ever seen a hotel room in. Stains on the fitted sheet and comforter, broken dresser drawers in disarray, leaky sink, and curtains that could only be closed with generously provided duct tape. The only positive thing was the front desk staff - they watched our bags and kept them safe while we were out and about for the day. Reconsider your choice to stay here if you want a clean, safe room.

Good food good sleep
Lovely people in our experience, the sushi place down stairs is a big plus. There’s lots of food options that are within East walking distance. If you want wheelchair accessible you’ll have to make sure its a first floor room. There is no elevator.
