This has been our go to hotel in this area however something has changed. We were there for 4 days. The room was never vacuumed or the sheets changed, and we needed to ask for clean towels after a couple of days We repeatedly asked for shampoo as all the dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were empty without success. The shower faucet dripped continually (and many gallons of water while we were there). Very disappointing! The breakfast is still good, but there was a roach wandering along a mantle by our table. Also, there was the same piece of garbage on the floor by the elevators the entire 4 days, so clearly the hallways are not vacuumed. A shame because we have really enjoyed this hotel in the past.

The property offered all the necessaries amenities. Front desk personnel was helpful and attentive to requests. However, it was very uncomfortable to be harassed by Hilton membership sales representatives. Each and every time I had to leave the hotel and to know I had to listed to a sales pitch made each moment dreadful. I will suggest representatives be more respectful of guest personal family time ; where listening to a membership sales pitch is just unnecessary.

I arrived an hour early. Customer service representative was rude. My room was not ready. I could wait over there in the sitting area. The bellman, Joseph, did everything in his power to make me feel comfortable. After about 45 minutes, the front desk, called the head of housekeeping to open a whole floor to guests to have rooms available with king beds. Joseph is a diamond in the rough!

Visited this hotel this past weekend with my friends. Our room was cold. We turned it up to 90 degrees, but the feel of the room never changed. They must control it from office, but make you think that you can adjust it. A maintenance man came to check it. I noticed on the monitor that he used it said the air blowing out was at 73 degrees, but our thermostat was at 90. He came on the day that we were checking out. We spent two days in the cold. The bathroom had mold in tile. It needs to be deep cleaned. There were also stains on the blankets and sheets. Checkout was 11/24/24.

Our fridge did not work in our room. It was plugged in and turned on but warm. We had 2 little kids who were supposed to sleep on pull out couch which had NO blanket. They were super tired after a day of travel and we had to wait for blankets for them so they could sleep. Also, room smelled like weed after an hour so someone must have been smoking nearby. so someone must have been smoking next door. Parking garage reeked like weed. Elevator smelled like weed.

Stay frequently in crystal city frequently- first time at embassy. Room had trash on floors/in corners. No blankets for pull out. Not enough pillows or towels. It happens… however… Front desk said that housekeeping unavailable and a room change unavailable without up charge. Requested/confirmed need for crib before our arrival and conversely upon arrival told housekeeping was not available and they are only ones who could have fulfilled that request “and they forgot.” Undisclosed Parking fee of $46.

You have to pay almost double in parking fees for on site parking $46 a night, they got rid of the free happy hour from 4-7 and give you 2 small drinks now. Also they got rid of all the vending machines on the room floors forcing you to go all the way down to buy from the expensive stoor in the lobby. Billion Dollar Corporate Greed at its Finest. For the hassle i will stay somewhere more convenient from now on because all its benefits are gone now
