Very cute, clean rooms with the basics for an easy stay. The staff is great and there is a bar and restaurant on site. Super convenient when visiting university students in Foggy Bottom. I would def stay here again.

A Great Little Hotel
Second time staying at Hive Hotel. Cordial staff (calling me by name when coming and going) comfortable bed and perfect location to GWU. Close to restaurants, 20 minute walk to Lincoln Memorial, and directly across the street from the Smith Center at George Washington University. Our 2nd stay was as pleasant as the first with one exception. Our room was in the lower level. I prefer to be on the floors above. Although there were windows, the rooms are much darker being below street level.

It was extremely noisy. My bed was a bunk bed. There was no gym. The only food they served was pizza. The espresso was very poor quality and extremely expensive. I won’t stay there again.

A lovely hotel within a short walk of the metro, Kennedy Centre and Lincoln Memorial. The reception team was excellent, and the rooftop bar is worth a visit.

We stayed 3 nights. The rooms were pretty chic. The location is perfect. It's a 5ish min walk to the Metro and the Mall is within walking distance. However the rooms can be very small. I didn't realize it was a micro hotel. I traveled with my family (wife and 2x teen girls). My wife and I stayed in a queen room and gave our daughters the king room for the sake of peace. The queen sized room was comically small. I would not recommend it for anyone travel with another person but it would be fine for one. The King room was very cool and big enough for 2. Every staff member was very friendly and very professional. The roof top bar was a great atmosphere and the bar downstairs was perfect. Great food and service. I highly recommend the hotel. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than your average Marriott room.

Hive hotel is an excellent stay for your DC trip! You can walk, rideshare or metro to DC. We have stay twice and will definitely stay again!
