We stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The entire property, especially the hallways, had a strong smell of cleaning products, which was overwhelming. Even worse, the parking lot had a terrible, foul odor that made it unbearable to be there. Every morning, when we went to get our car, the stench was so bad it made us feel sick. We will definitely not be choosing this hotel again.

Not worth the price.
The best part was check-in. The Front Desk Agent was very cordial and helpful. It went downhill from there. I went to my room and although clean, it was very outdated with a musty, old room stench. I went downstairs to eat at the restaurant/lounge because I was tired and hungry. I was seated at 7:05pm. I ordered and asked for lemon for my water, and was told they didn't have lemons so i asked for lime and was told they would check. At 7:45pm, I still had not been checked on, no lime and no food. I left. I went to my room and ordered delivery from outside the hotel. The driver said he left it downstairs, the shift changed and this time front desk rudely let me know that it's not their responsibility to notify me that the food was down there and i had to come get it. No problem. I get downstairs and I'm told, "it's over there", as she pointed to where another patron was blocking my view. The culmination of everything was not pleasing to me. The hotel was not worth the night's fee AT ALL. Prices were elevated for some reason in the DC area, but i'm sure I could've better spent $300+ for one night in another hotel.

I loved the cleanliness of the room. The room is spacious. The hotel lobby is simply beautiful. The bus shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent. The food in the dining room was very good. The only negative was thin walls, not very private, you can hear conversations from surrounding room.

They’re doing renovations so be forgiving. But my goodness, what they couldn’t offer in making it feel like the Ritz, they certainly made up for it with excellent service and friendliness. This alone made the experience very nice. EVERYONE there was very kind and friendly and I felt very welcomed. I would definitely stay there again. Also, this hotel is PERFECT if you want to go into DC but also want to be kind of close to other areas in the DC Metro area.

I was in the 2nd tower and you can tell this property has seen better days. The bathroom is small and had a slight sewage smell so that's what you smell when you first walk into the room. It was quiet and the staff was helpful and friendly.
