Room was nice and bathroom as well. Food was wonderful. Breakfast is superior to most hotels. Smoked salmon, cage free eggs, options of turkey or pork sausage, smoothies, blintzes amongst many other delicious options. View looked nice as well.

We encountered unprofessional and disappointing treatment during our stay at this property, and I’m sad to say that it falls far below the standard expected of a “Washington Hilton.” To start, we faced an inconvenience with parking. Despite paying a premium rate for the night, the hotel parking lot was overbooked, forcing us to park in an offsite garage. Though this wouldn’t have prompted me to file a complaint, the overall lack of professionalism and unsafe environment from the staff did. We were four young women, who were aggressively yelled at, presented with physical signs of aggression, and our items thrown onto cart by baggage attendant Abdul. He forced my friends to tip him, even presenting his cash app, when they politely hinted that they wished not to by stating they didn't have cash. To make matters worse, when I tried to notify the hotel staff, I was told by reception that there was no manager available and that I would need to speak with the cart attendants, as they operated in a separate area from reception. What is the point of having reception if not to handle guest issues? The only redeeming part of this experience was that cart manager Manuel was VERY HELPFUL and apologetic, he took me seriously as well as the traffic/safety attendant on stand by. I did later receive a call from Hilton but I still believe that unsafe experience from an employee warrants a review to aware parents, young and all women like me and my friends.

They overbooked. We got there at 5 pm and they didn’t have our room, king corner. They put us in part of a suite. It had everything like a bathroom and living area, but the bed was a size double and it was like sleeping in a warehouse. We asked to move and they moved us to a regular king the next day. The only thing they did was give us breakfast, which we had to hassle about. They charge an extra $25 per day and tell you that you can get that back by purchasing things and they credit you. Awful practice. The room was very small and lots wrong with it. Air didn’t work right, bathroom light made noise and walls are very thin. The WiFi went out every day. When we called the front desk they transferred us to their tech support where they didn’t help me (we are IT people and the WiFi just dropped). I’ve never written a bad review but this was not a good experience at all.

The front desk service was extremely slow. The staff member frequently left to attend a birthday celebration, leaving her unavailable for extended periods. When she returned, she seemed confused about her tasks. Meanwhile, two other employees were managing their customers, and by the time she finished with me, I had already waited quite a while. She kindly asked if I wanted a room close to the elevator, but the room was on the other end of the building. Our door ran out of battery and needed to be replaced, and we found a roach in the conference room chair. Unfortunately, the food was bland, and the cashiers in the marketplace were slow and forgetful. On our last day, when I wanted to have lunch, the host was unkind. I understand they were understaffed and overwhelmed, but that doesn’t excuse the rudeness. We ultimately decided to leave.

Alexis at the front desk was amazing! She had a great smile and helped us get into our room a little earlier and everything. Bellhop was amazing as well! He helped us many times to catch a taxi.
