The property is a bit old and smells like smoke. Our room was at the very very end so we had to walk a lot to get to our room. There was a free breakfast buffet for two with the deal we got and the food was amazing. The staff was okay. There was no room service unless you asked for towels or something like that then thats all you got.

We stayed in the hotel for a night and it’s pretty good. The hotel rooms are very spacious and quite. It has a good breakfast menu but it’s not inclusive with the reservation. Overall it’s a good place to stay.

This hotel has so much potential, but it needs some major attention. While it was clean and comfortable enough and the price was affordable (why I chose it for a short one-night stay), it is very dated and understaffed. I remember in the 1970s and 80s when the Red Lion chain in the Northwest was one of the top hotel brands. Hasn't been the case for a long time now. This property, like the others I've seen in recent years, is tired and even shabby in spots, like duct tape holding down the edges of the hallway carpeting, banged-up door frames, and marred edges on the desk in my room. Decor is dark and old. It was very clean, however, and my bed was fine -- room and bathroom were spacious -- but the overall feel of the place is not appealing. On top of that, there was hardly a staff person around. When I arrived to check in at 10 PM (granted, it was late), there was a sign at the front desk that said the attendant was away taking care of a guest need and would return shortly. No one was at the front desk when I checked out, and there was a basket to leave keys in. The breakfast, which was very mediocre, had one staff person on duty. On the up side, the location is good, parking is easy and the hotel could clearly return to being a premier spot in Wenatchee, with lots of convention/meeting facilities, if an investment was made to update it.

Old and outdated. Top of the list in terrible hotels, and will probably avoid Red Lion from now on. Unless you love the 70's. Then of course this will feel right at home.
