We stood there for no more that 4 minutes, took pictures of condition, smelled like marijuana very strong. Around bed was dirty, had dead insects, bathroom had hair on floor and tub.

I HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE MY LUGGAGE WAS GONE TRHOUGH AS TWO OF MY NIGHTGOWNS WERE NOT THERE WHEN I TOOK MY SHOWER. I HAD TO SLEEP IN A T-SHIRT. ALSO, THE FLOORS WERE DIRTY; MY FEET WERE SO BLACK FROM WALKING ON THE FLOOR, I HAD TO WASH THEM SEVERAL TIMES A DAY JUST TO PUT MY SHOES ON OR GO TO BED. THERE WAS SOME CONCERN ABOUT WHAT I HEARD ON CHARGES FOR MY PET AS DURING A HURRICANE, I THOUGHT THOSCHARGES WERE TO BE WAVED BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR.

DO NOT STAY HERE
First we are told the incidental fee is $100 instead of the usual $50. They also charged a pet fee per night not per reservation. Then we found a used crack pipe in the beside drawer. The room besides the crack pipe was reasonably clean. Other guests complained about musty smelling rooms. Every room had a dehumidifier in it, so we had to continually empty that but at least the room didn't smell musty. My biggest issue you'd think would be the pipe we found but instead it was the treatment after complaining in my "check in review". They came banging on the door and when my opened it they immediately were confrontational about my complaint. They did remove the pipe, but continued to refer to me TO MY FACE as the "unhappy customer". Even when i went to try and extend our visit one day ( not out of desire but out of necessity bc of the hurricane) and as soon as I gave the desk clerk my room number instead of saying I'm sorry there's no availability she just looks at me and says oh you're the unhappy customer. At that point I was done. I drove home and will NEVER be back to this place. Also I'd add a photo of what we found but it isn't "family friendly"

Evacuation Situation
Staff were great and room was good for what we needed it for as we were evacuating due to a storm. However, be aware: there are cameras EVERYWHERE! To the point that it is invasive. Makes you wonder if there aren’t any in the room itself.

The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff was so kind and pleasant. We had an issue with trying to use our key for the first room and the staff come up to us to open up a new room which was so helpful as he had many luggage’s and bags. As well on my last day I needed to print some documents and they were so kind to help me and print the many documents I needed without any issues! It was wonderful and would come back if I visit again.
