The room and property was clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast with a great view of the lake. There is a restaurant on the premises that served Indian cuisine. We did not have enough time to have dinner there but it did smell good.

A wonderful visit. Beautiful site. Very clean. Just for a FYI. The restaurant on property Only serves Indian food. It looked very nice but we didn’t care for the menu options.

The room was nice it had fire place and a balcony was very clean , The Indian restaurant on site had delicious food and you just had to walk down the stairs to get your food very convenient

There's so much to like about the Black Swan Inn. It's located in a scenic area that's convenient to theaters, shopping, museums... just about everything beautiful Berkshire County has to offer. My companion and I shared a room with a glorious lakeside view and a balcony. (Note that not all rooms have a lakeside view.) The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant within the hotel, Mint, serves superb Indian cuisine. Mint is very popular, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance. I only have one complaint about the Black Swan Inn: it's noisy. From our room, day and night, we heard loud conversation from the hall, as well as every step made by the occupant in the room above ours. I wish their walls weren't quite as thin.

This property was great especially the staff; the staff very knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions of where to eat and have a great time. The room had a great view of the lake and the sunrises were spectacular

The inn is a nice departure from the usual chains. Personal touches are a good feature. The bath tub is very slippery with no safety grab bars. A rubber bath mat would make the shower much safer.

Traveling back from Western New York my sister and I decided that we wanted to break up the trip back to Maine. Once we had booked the hotel, I got a Text from the hotel, confirming our reservation. In the old days, you used to call the front desk if you needed something, but the texting came in handy the next morning as the hot water didn’t work. I received an immediate text indicating that she was going to reset the hot water heater and we should have hot water very shortly. As soon as she had reset it, she texted that we should be all set, And we had nice hot water. Our room was clean, the beds were nice, and the breakfast offered a lot of options the next morning, with a nice view of the pond. We had wanted some thing that wasn’t too far off the highway and this was the perfect option. We were wishing that we had more time there as the Norman Rockwell Museum look like that would’ve been interesting to visit! So if I return to that area, I will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very nice and we had a great view of the lake. The breakfast each morning was more then we expected, a good selection. The 24 hour access to the hot beverage machine was a plus. The on-site restaurant was a bonus. When we plan our next trip to the Berkshires, we'll definitely stay at The Black Swan !!
