We made a reservation for a top floor no pet room. When we checked in and went to our room on the top floor we discovered we had been put in a handicap room. This room had no counter in the bathroom just a sink therefore no place to put our bathroom sundries. Also the shower curtain smelled soured. We went to the front desk and asked for a regular room, not handicap. The woman clerk was extremely belligerant telling us we had reserved a handicap room! She insisted we had, essentially calling us liars, when we told her we did not do that and never have. We are both very able bodied. She said she had no other rooms available on the top floor, they were all reserved and she was not going to switch us into a room reserved for someone who had not even arrived yet even though we were here. She then became extremely upset and said she had 30 reservations coming that day to check in! (As if all 30 were going on the top floor!) And said we can stay in the handicap room or go to the 2nd or first floor where dogs have stayed. We decided to go to the 2nd floor and found dog odor and urine stains on the carpet. We will be telling all our friends of this incident and to never stay at your hotel.
