Booked queen room. When arrived at hotel, they said that we are getting the smallest room with only a double bed. Insisted we had to pay to get an "upgrade" to the bed that was booked. Unfortunately, booking confirmation didn't indicate the size of the bed that came with the rate, so we had to make do. We should sleep a wink that night and left Whistler hours earlier back to Vancouver, at 4:30 a.m. just to get better sleep at home.

Loved the Crystal Lodge! It was conveniently in the main strip of the village at Whistler. Parking at the property was quite reasonable too and had lots of EV chargers available for electric vehicles.

Very well located. Well appointed rooms. Though found room size too small. Also did not understand logic if being charged hefty amount for each nights parking even after paying for rooms.

Showing its age. Strange layout. Entered parking in back alley lobby feels like backside of a hotel. Very reasonable prices for minibar. spaghetti Factory connected restaurant had normal prices so takeout to room was totally reasonable. Parking tight and claustrophobic (7ft ceil parade. Great location in the Village central to everything. Pet friendly. Great soaker tub. Parking not complimentary. (Apparently that is common in Whistler though). Overall nice but I’d try others next time and maybe re-evaluate from there. Overall it didn’t feel “special” but felt accommodating and established.
