The bed was clean, but the bathroom had paint peeling off the walls, a rusty mess at the bottom of the toilet and an ancient shower head. Mold on the bottom of the shower curtain and in the grout wasn't pleasant. Not where I want to spend $100 to spend a night. Also, the envelope begging a tip for the cleaning staff was tacky.

I don't understand Why they charged my credit card 100 dollars for incidental expenses instead of just having it on file incase there were any such charges.
Our stay was met with a lobby full of adults and children for a Halloween Party. This was a special event the hotel ran. We had no idea about this when we booked our room as part of our anniversary. We were hoping for a quiet and restful stay. There were too many to enjoy the pool and hot tub and children crying and running in the hall impacted enjoying the hotel. Our room was okay the breakfast was great and enjoyed the decorations by the breakfast hostess.

The check in was awkward. The lobby was filled with decorations and dogs. Just unpleasant. The room has some mold in the bathroom.
We ended up not staying because of the women behind the desk, after her very rude demour from the start, ended up calling me and idiot & she kept shrugging her shoulders at me with full on attitude and then crossed her arms and said oh well not my problem. I even told her mam I think that we are not understanding each other and she continued to say no your an idiot and I'm explaining myself just fine. After trying to get a refund from hotels.Com as well as BayMount I was denied FROM THE WOMEN THAT CAUSED IT all. Not sure how that makes sense to ask the person that acted in such a manner to refund the customer that didn't end up staying because of the way she was speaking and acting. I normally never have an issue with this hotel. This women was horrible and I will never stay again. Nor use hotels. Com due to the lack of help in getting my money back for a stay that didn't happen.

The hotel was not good. Hot tub was ice cold, bathrooms were very small and tight. They didn’t clean our room at all. The bed was very hard to sleep on, it felt like you were sleeping on a rock. Every morning when we got up our backs hurt. Would not stay there again.

As soon as I entered the room, the oder was pungent! So I opened the window to air the room out. Mind you it is October so not warm. So I turned on the heating unit and that smelled like someone urinated in the register. So I left and went to Meijer to purchase gloves, Lysol wipes, candles and room spray to return and clean the entire room just to make it tolerable to sleep. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly so I reported that to the front desk and asked for towels and shampoo and conditioner refill the man at the front desk said he would try to get some one to get to the toilet. And that housekeeper would take care of towels and things when she cleans the room. So when I reached at the end of the day. The room wasn’t cleaned and the toilet wasn’t repaired. I went to the front desk asked why my room wasn’t cleaned, I was told the room is only cleaned after the third day of your stay. So I asked for four sets of towels and I was told to bring the dirty ones down to her at the front desk. I’m appalled that I paid $227.66 (plus the cleaning supplies)
I liked the location and amenities like the pool and laundry options. I am a painter so I noticed that at least my room needed to freshen up the paint job.
