We love the Murray Premises and find the prices are always the lowest. Prices these days are insane as is most everything but we can always find a great room for a great price here. The only thing missing for me would be a gym! But that won’t prevent me from staying. Breakfast isn’t huge but it’s just fine. Always recommend Murray Premises!

Myself and my wife stayed at this hotel over the Christmas break. We attended a supper at the keg and decided to book into the hotel to spend the night. We stayed in room 326. The room was beautiful however our experience was not. Upon returning from the keg at approx 9:30, we heard what sounded like someone on a microphone and a crowd cheering for about an hour to an hour and a half. I’m not sure if there was a function happening however it was extremely loud. I understand this is an old property however the sounds of cars travelling up and down roadways could be heard just as if we had the window open. Several times throughout night it also sounded like a truck was being offloaded and what sounded like metal racks being rolled around. Again in the morning approx 8am we were woken by sounds of what we thought was a truck being offloaded continued. We could also continued to plainly hear racks or trolleys being rolled around. Upon checking out the lady on the front desk didn’t even as much as ask how our stay was in which I would have voiced the issues. This was an extremely disappointing experience with the property. I am not typically one to complain and have stayed over 200 nights this year alone in various hotels across North America however I felt it necessary to voice these concerns. I did e-mail the hotel with the these concerns however did not hear back from them.

Allana, the front desk clerk was a total joy to deal with. She always made sure everything was to my satisfaction. The way she handled herself even with a disgruntled unfair and rude guest was amazing. I had to cut my intended stay short but I will certainly return. Thank you so much

We had a wonderful night. Very relaxing and quiet, however, I only rated 4 stars overall because the bed was quite uncomfortable and one of the pillows was very lumpy and should probably be thrown out. For an executive suite, I expected the bed to not be as hard as it was. Other than that, we enjoyed our night away.

Our room was on the top floor, 4th floor I believe. The elevator only access to 3rd floor, so we had to take stairs. And when we stepped in our room, I felt cold immediately and my husband had a hard time to breathe. We both have strong senses, and I searched about the hotel right away it was haunted and they refused to refund. I had to pack all the stuff and choose another hotel to stay.

Stale smell
We have stayed at the Murray Premises numerous times. We like it there. This is the first time however that we have stayed in the “other” part of the hotel. When you walk through the doors into this section there’s a stale smell that hits you. It was in the halls and the room as well. The smell isn’t unbearable, but it’s definitely present. If we return for another stay, I will be requesting the area accessed by the first elevator.

Our truck was damaged on parking lot overnight . Tonneau cover cut in 2 places. A large expense this time of year. You have very limited parking. We had no other choice but to park on side of hotel where it was dark. Very very very upset
